First, Randle best game. I'm 100% with that. He was unreal the entire game IMHO. This was peak Jules.
Second, if Grimes has this capability, he will be an all star, like very soon, not this year but within 2 years IMO. This level and type of shot-making is out of this world and unstoppable for someone with the handle and foot quickness he got going on.

Is it me or do the Bulls seem like a more talented version of what the Knicks have been over the past 2 years without PG help (outside of what DRose gave them for half a season off bench)?
Seems like it to me.
Heady PGs to help with the talent is just so vital, even if you have a DeRozen type.

Regarding the prior game, fuckin Thibs lol

This is what the Knicks did to the Bulls after 2 straight dominance-style wins. Who's your dadddy?!

Definitely going to enjoy this week streak cause it hasn't happened often the last few years! To be able to beat any team back to back in their house is tough. And idc that Bulls team has three former All-Stars and we manhandled them!
Felt like I was watching Curry and Klay out there with Brunson and Grimes raining threes! I really REALLY like this backcourt! They complement each other so well! Brunson is so much fun to watch! His three point shot is coming along which will make him that more difficult to guard! The split double team, spin and fade over Vucevic was sick! And love that Randle hand off and screen setting up Grimes for that three. He did a lot with Bulloch and Fournier and happy to see he's started to do this with Grimes.
Defense was once again suffocating! We held them to just 59 points after the first quarter including just 16 points in the 4th! Forced 20 turnovers and had 13 steals too! Major kudos to RJ's defense on DeRozan. Didn't go for the pump fakes and adjusted well. And he was outstanding offensively in that 3rd quarter (except for the missed FTs)! Also kudos to Randle. He cooled off offensively but he played with a lot of energy defensively, which is not always the case. And good to see the Bulls fans give Rose a standing ovation. He should be a HOF'er imo.
Only negative was IQ. He's defending well but his offense is hurting the team. We're having just too many empty possessions with that second unit which will kill us against the really good teams. I like IQ - nice kid, works hard, ect. But he needs to be more consistent. Shooting 38% from the field and 29% from three isn't going to cut it. We need a legit scoring and shooting threat off the bench. Fully understand why he's being rumored to be shopped around. As of right now, I'm honestly not sure if I'd resign him. Might be smarter to use one of the upcoming picks to find a replacement. But if we do trade IQ, I hope it's for a 'similar' type of guard who can defend and is maybe a more consistent shooter/scorer.
And RIP to Louis Orr. One of my earliest memories was watching that skinny PF battle in the paint and that bank shot against the Celtics.

Love watching this franchise struggle! They tormented my childhood and left a lot of bad memories and scars LOL. But objectively, they really miss Lonzo. He'd be the perfect glue to that team. They just don't have that guy that brings them all together. Kind of like what Brunson has done for us. If I were them, I'd start over. Sell DeRozan, LaVine and Vucevic asap while they still have value. And in the interim, I'd look to get some younger players in their rotation. Playing Dragic and Drummond is dumb.

So many good signs for our future last night. Randle is starting to feel comfortable with Grimes. He is starting to do that fancy leave the ball for your 3pt shooter passes that he did with Reggie and Evan. We need these two to build all that good Chemistry.

I remember last season when Grimes started implementing those Step back 3's into his game. They looked nice but they rarely went in. They are starting to go in now. So he is building onto his game in so many ways. He is improving his defense, passing, driving and now the work on his moves used to get open shots are paying off.

Definitely not taking away from Thibs, but our young guys like deuce, sims, IQ, grimes………they are all approachable and humble type guys. And the vets like rose helping deuce is a small example of how the vets we have are building great chemistry with the yoots. It takes a certain personality to be confident without being cocky. The problem with some yoots when they come into the nba, they not humble enough. Our young guys (including Obi) are walking sponges. Credit them for being professional and approachable. They all seem to be cool mature guys to hang with. Deuce and sims play well together thanks to their time in the gleague. But overall love how the chemistry is growing with these players.

This was a statement game by the Knicks.
I really enjoyed watching the Bulls commentators analyze the game and the Knicks.

Derrick Rose back to Chicago for two second rounders. Who says no?

Feels like it would have to start with Caruso salary-wise for trade.

Colby White could work too.

Ha, they are tying to fill their PG spots not thin?
I was going to mention before: Colby was invisible to me for 2 games.

My understanding is that they don't consider him a point guard, but a combo who gets hot from outside. He's having a slow start from three, but he's been solid in prior years.
