Ticked me off the other night - Luka leaves early in game with ankle and Phoenix (at home) completely what’s the bed - allowing Dinwiddie to go for 37 and giving Dallas a big win.

Its top 10 protected next 3 years and if they ever get Luka some help they will be a top team. If this year's pick ends up in the late teens or god forbid late lottery we got super lucky and should be able to get a good player.
yep
You know -- "the worst trade ever." Mocked and rued incessantly by media and fans. The one that opened cap space for us to sign Randle and Morris who became Quickley. And part of getting us Grimes, Deuce. and Rokas (I know that's fuzzy math). And a pick to come.
But we did lose Timmy Jr. And the opportunity to heckle KP in his street clothes.
This is what KP meant when he told us to stay woke'.
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
This is gold!! Rofl heckle KP in his street clothes, that tickles me fancy :)
Currently the 15th pick with today's record (top 10 protected)..
15th pick: 26-65 Dallas Record
11th pick: 23-26 approximately
This is good, considering how well Doncic is playing.
Would be amazing to end up with 11th or 12th pick.
Well with the Hart trade this will likely be our pick in the coming draft for the time being. Maybe we shouldn’t be too gleeful about Kyrie going to Dallas.

Kyrie was out tonight with back soreness. Once a Knick always a Knick Frankie Smokes started at point guard.
Don’t want them to sink too far just find that sweet spot.

Look at their rotation. It’s rough right now. They have pinson and Frank playing big minutes.

I hope Frank does well. He was young with us- he should be ready for this. Kidd is a good coach.
I hadn’t been worried about us not getting their pick. Now I am!

Protected through 10.
11 is the spot.
The ideal scenario is the Mavs finish 10 in the west and lose the play-in, if you're willing to gamble on the low odds of them getting a top 4 pick.
Then you're likely looking at 11 or 12.
I like drafting in the back half of the draft.. I feel like you’re pretty much drafting purely on tape by that point
I have always believed the best way to build a team is to have your 13th guy be your first round pick. Even better would be the 12th and 13th
Raising the talent level is obviously good. A cost effective way is the draft, if done well. Someone tell Thibs to tell Wes what he wants now. I feel like history has shown that would be a good path forward for next year and more

The west is so tight it’s really impossible to predict where this pick will land but I would sign up for this right now.
If they can grab a nice defensive wing or someone that’s a Jared Vanderbilt type that’s what this team needs. That pick can be very valuable.
Best case is 15-17 range

Wiz pick seems to be slipping away this year.

Still on the table....if it does not convey this year it will be Top 12 protected in '24 ....if not that than Top 10 protected in '25.
