This game clearly shows why Randle is a solid #2 or more realistically a #3 on a very good team IMHO. He just doesn’t have that killer, clutch sense about him.
He is more workhorse type dude. RJ probably same but not as talented.

That's one positive. He bounced back from the back alley mugging the Bucks gave him in the first game. IQ also with a solid scoring game.

I’m not too upset with this one.
I am. I'm sure that teams have it in their scouting reports that this team will implode as long as they keep it close. We're mentally weak. How do you think this will react if they make the playoffs, where the pressure really starts to mount?
I think another half season with JB at point, and our new and improved rotation (little to no minutes for poor defensive players) and we’ll make plenty of noise in the playoffs.

Yeah, would have been better with a win! Knicks were close; I can't believe it was Joel Ingles who turned the corner for the Bucks. He killed it in the second half.

Naw, that noise will be me yelling at the TV after a first round exits. Or playing loss. Whatever. At least they kept Grayson Allen in check.

yeah Ingles is a very good player
Pretty sure Hart and Fournier need to be excised from the rotation.
Hart is just playing weak side defense where the Knicks defense needs a strong C. He’s clumsy and doesn’t finish strong. He missed 4 shots in a row, including a 3 foot wide open air ball. Dennis Rodman clanged the backboard at least. I don’t understand why Sims is stuck behind here. Happy to hear why.
Fournier had the worst air ball I’ve ever seen tonight. He doesn’t rotate on defense and has no idea who he is picking up in transition. His best defensive play was a foul on Giannis. Pull the plug.
Refs stole the ball from Brunson when we were up 17. Pretty bad no challenge by Thibs. That became a 3 that started the eradication of the Knicks lead.
Robinson is a beast on defense but is lost on O. Willing to keep trying here but they need to unleash the beast and get him some confidence. Gotta get Mitch more engaged.
Miles had a forgettable performance tonight. That -11 gets plugged in him but I think other guys get a little boost of running with Brunson tonight even though they did nothing.
IQ looked really good tonight.
Brunson/McBride
Grimes/IQ
Barrett/
Randle/Toppin
Robinson/Sims.
Out:
Fournier
Hart
Rose
Reddish
That is all.

Game tonight showed us that we indeed need RJ back and a better back up 3 then Fournier if RJ is out. A better three and D SF off the bench. I'd take Bullocks back for situational minutes
How do the refs miss calls like this one and the 3 point foul on Brunson in the first half?

Grayson Allen looked like Allan Houston with Fournier not guarding him.

The Brunson out of bounds was pretty bad call also.

They all do when Fournier is guarding them.
Only Fournier’s mom and maybe MS want him to get minutes.

Wow I just realized Mitch only had two more points than my grandmother.
How is that even possible?

You're grandma is clearly very bad at basketball.

RJ finds him for a few baskets every night

He had two opportunities. Giannis blocked him from behind (clean) and another he put up an awkward 3 foot brick. Brunson’s open looks came at the expense of Robinson. They let Brunson shoot in the paint while keeping Robinson checked.

Totally right. Weird to see so many tremendous leads followed by stupendous collapses. Good to have been up in the first place, but they need to find their big boy pants and close games out.
The same red flags people like to ignore during winning streaks against injured/lesser teams always kills us against better teams. Being a great 1st quarter team means nothing when your also one of the worst 4th quarter teams. I can no longer praise the great 1st quarter performances when I know that trash 4th is coming because it always does.
