Seeing the full trade. Really good move. Can’t argue this one. Knicks will still have a first round pick. Josh hart was a Brunson college teammate, Randle laker teammate, thibs guy, he’s a CAA guy. He’s all of the things that connects to the Knicks. The same way Brunson did. He can be a nice core piece for this team going forward.

Grimes back to second unit?
Also, rumor is that they are trying to involve a third team

I think Grimes is safe for now. Maybe one of those roster spots is for Melo🤣... 😳

Macri talking how crazy it would be if Obi gets moved out for something and Knicks consider Melo.
Not that it will happen but how crazy that would be.
Funny thing is that Hart probably fits better than RJ. Hmmm
Won't mind Grimes helping in second unit. However, not that he has been lights out, but first unit needs a three point shooter. JHart not that.
The odd man out is probably Deuce. Along with some RJ, IQ minutes as well.

Chandler @ 2/8/2023 11:07 PM
Welcome to the Knicks and will be rooting for him

That said his shooting percentages career wise are not great — id say subpar for a SG. And i think his rebounding numbers are inflated this year because of weak front court

Hoping they still add some shooting to open floor and so tight game offense isn’t so predictable ISO-JR, or ISO-JB

The anti-Isiah Thomas trade!

NYStateOfMind @ 2/8/2023 11:17 PM
This helps in a few areas, a very good trade. Does he start or off the bench? Now go get a 3pt shooter, and a rim protector, then run this thing.

Josh Hart had been the starting SF for Portland

Easily the best trade in a decade.

Rose was solid for a year, but Hart is the best role player you can ask for. Solid as a rock, chemistry hard worker that rebounds like a beast and can body up wings. We gave up nothing, didn’t do anything stupid and kept our assets for future trades.

A+

Knicks legitimately took any gamble out of this deal as far as the draft is concerned.

Is FO shifting on RJ long term?

Having thoughts/fears of Zach Lavine.
RJ, Obi, Rose and picks for Zach.
