Is it too late for all-star replacements? Here are a bunch of banged up players from the east that are still set to play:

Giannis has his wrist issue, Kyrie has his back, Jaylen Brown is dealing with a facial fracture, DeRozan missed a game with an injured quad.

I guess it's not a bad thing if he can stay pissed off about the snub all the way to a championship this year. :)

(And next year, the Knicks need to canvas NYC with QR codes to the NBA all star voting site/app. New Yorkers should be able to EASILY get our starting lineup into the all-star game.

He was even more insane during the 2nd game and was a lock for MVP had his team won.

He showed up and showed out to the point they should've given him the MVP despite the loss.

Grimes was unreal amongst his peers tonight.

My favorite Knick showed out.
As I mentioned in the Grimes thread, he is much better when given the lead scorer role. As is everyone that has played this sport.

If not for Sochan and Williams, who were turnover machines and Grimes taking a few too many heat check shots, they would have won and he would have taken the MVP.
Definitely represented himself well and opened the eyes of those that did not know what we have. As we do.

I think Sims has 5he package, but I don't know if he has the stage presence and charisma. Big guys usually have an uphill battle to begin with. I hope Obi has mentored Sims for what is likely the biggest stage he's been on. He needs to be strategic, yet carefree at the same time. There's a lot of pressure on Sims to live up to the example set by past Knicks champions.
