Knicks · Brunson-Quickley-Hart-Randle-Robinson is one of my favorite Knicks lineups of all time (page 1)

Knixkik @ 2/25/2023 11:10 AM
It will never be the starting lineup most likely, but it is just so good. It will never get outworked, will always be elite defensively, and the offense hums around Randle and Brunson. Teams can’t keep this group off the offensive boards and the actively level is impossible to match. It’s that lineup no team wants to face. Can’t help but be extremely entertained watching them and I feel like this is the lineup that reflects culture change we haven’t seen since the Van Gundy days.

NICE

When you got players who understand their role, give max effort with smart plays, and how they fit in with the guys around them, just makes everyone better. IQ, Mitch, Hart are exactly that

Love it

Curious, can you elaborate ? What is it about my post that makes you say that specifically ? Just seems a bit odd so I would like to understand the context.

Agree...Looks like Thibs is going with this group to close out games. Good to see RJ not in there!

Said it last year and this year... IQ can be Maxey part 2.
Would have been fine with Knicks not signing anyone at PG to give him the reins. Glad we got JB though.
IQ is a dog. As is the lineup mentioned above.
Think we just look at things this way. We have 7 guys that should start. Not all of them can but the ones that have it going will end the game. Thibs has always done a good job of doing this.

Hey man, the facts are what they are (until they're not). Why can't a fan have a little joy? At least for a change, there are things to be positive about this team even if RJ isn't the one bringing the joy? Why do we have to be married to him as fans?

"of all time"? Jhart four games in and Mitch first game with him.
Knicks won all of them with different looks and different minute distribution.
Me? I'd rather see RJ kick ass as the higher his ceiling the better the franchise.

Not sure I understand. Have a little joy = being incessantly and obsessively negative about one thing all the time?

It’s cool, all in fun. It just reminds me of when I ask my 4 year old a question and the answer makes no sense to the question.

EwingsGlass @ 2/25/2023 10:06 PM
Barrett is a like a little bit of man strength away from being a force in the paint. Keep hitting the bench and get some more lift in those legs. He’s like inches off from his finishes but is becoming a bruiser that is shooting through contact. I’ve switched back to “buy” on his upside.

That said the Brunson/IQ/Hart/Randle/Robinson line is pretty tough.

I would rather see RJ kill it too. I’m one of the biggest RJ supporters here. I’m just referring to this specific combo of players appearing to be such a great balance. I know they have technically only been together 2 games. I’m not saying there will be promised success with them. I just love this 5 and how the skill sets are complimentary of each other.

Odd since you didn’t ask a question

That response is because you seem ready to anoint this particular set of players the “greatest since..…” having only played roughly only 15-20 min together (at the time of this post)…..so, you overreaction and “homerism” over such a small sample size, is common among many Knick fans.

If we could somehow sneak Grimes & I-Hart into your group of 5 I’d be even happier. Seven starters?

No, I wasn't.

I was the one who typed out his name.

The post I responded to WAS about RJ Barrett.
