I've seen Ju has reverted back to the turnovers in the clutch and read Minny might be looking to move him. Always liked Ju but he's a complicated player.

Julius is headed for his 4th All Star appearance, but it’s only because of all the points, rebounds and assists.
Other than that he’s awful!!!

I saw that and its not anything anyone is reporting but they need a guard next to Edwards is the point of the rumor and Jules could fetch a nice piece. "Sell high" is the thought. No sense that DDV is the right player next to Ant? While Lamelo, Trae Young and Jah are all potential, they are tainted. So is Jules? One might look to Sac which reunited Jules with Scott Perry? As for who? Im not saying Lavine is the player, but paired with another player perhaps? This of course is outside the money. Naz Reid should be starting somewhere.
Personally I'd like to see him on the Nets. Be fun to have him back in NYC.

To his credit, both players benefited from leaving Dallas. Jalen got an opporutniy from under Luka's shadow. Luka became motivated t slim down. Jury is still out on his durability but contrast of oft injured now over thirty AD vs. 26 year old Luka entering his prime is not a good look today.
But in the end the unintended tank yielded Cooper Flagg. Crazy.

Man, the Dallas "luck"
Every franchise is looking for a 1A/1B players. Who also is a closer. Who also makes other around them much better.
Dallas had 2 such players, both now clearly 1A. Both PGs, which is probably the most rare or tougher to find of 1A positions? Now they have none but do have a hope and prayer.

Gallo had a big presence on this board for many years. He was the core piece of a rebuild attempt and many preferred to keep him rather than trade for Melo. A lot of mixed emotion around here with him that sort of goes beyond any accomplishments he ever had as a Knick. Ultimately injuries probably denied him a fringe all star career. Time definitely flies though.

We just drafted Gallo yesterday....
MaTT4281@ 12/2/2025 3:06 PM
I still remember that Knicks/Nuggets game (pre-trade) when Gallo and Melo got into a duel in the 3rd.
I should probably say misremember, as I thought they each had about 20. Looking it up, Melo had 12 that quarter to Gallo's 17.
Was definitely team Gallo. Congratulations and enjoy retirement!

Man time flies. I remember reading about him on nbadraft.net when he was a teenager. Seems like this was just yesterday:

Yup, very interesting how this draft turned out. RJ was the right guy for the time. He helped turn this franchise into a consistent playoff team. You have to give him his flowers.
ramtour420@ 12/3/2025 10:55 PM
RJ was a safe pick, a blue collar guy. Zion could have/should have
Nalod@ 12/4/2025 7:54 AM
Its fun to look back but RJ was the logical pick in a draft that was percieved as really just being 3 deep at the time. Can't say anyone taken after him really proved that much better or valuable. Not like Donovan mitchell was sitting there at 14th that year. Kid has been solid on and off the court.
