Miami looking to make a push into the top 6;
Knicks looking to remain in the top 6 and avoid the playin (where you could end up in the lotto)
This will feel like a playoff game- knicks have to go to JR and Brunson and Hart and IQ
Need Mitch and grimes playing better
Bam and butler and herro will feast
Game 5 1999. Allan’s last second shot seemed like it was bouncing around for 5 minutes before it went in
Spoelestra was super pissy after the last game. If Knicks can get the win it will go a long way toward dismantling the Heat.

Heat's path of catching the Knicks is even less probable than the Knicks catching the Cavs.

I don't know that the Heat can't catch us. We have been, for 20+ years, a cursed franchise. It would be our luck to lose 2x to the Heat and end up in the play in.
The Heat's schedule seems harder:
https://www.tankathon.com/remaining_sche...
But I don't think it is.
Under tough opponents - the Nets and the Mavs - not sure either team is as good as their record is now - maybe the Nets are.
Our easy games include 2 against the Pacers - and we seemed to struggle against them this year.

Don't have time for curses....
What I can tell you in the Heat have a 2.9% chance of finishing 5th while the Knicks have an 80.6% chance of 5th or 4th.
Or in more relatable numbers:
To win 47 fames, knicks need to go 5-4
To win 47 games, Heat needs to go 8-1

Nevermind your hocus-pocus AI simulations! The Knicks are on a 1-game losing streak and Miami is a on a 1-game win streak!
Extrapolating that, the Knicks will end up 42-40 and Miami 48-34!

The math does seem to work out..
Hoping Clyde made the trip and can share some more memories and stories about Reed.

What kind of game thread is this - Knicks @ Miami and no double bang?!
The old Knicks would carry the losing momentum from the wolves game and get blown out this game. And send the knick fan base up side down.
Clyde looks like he has been crying all day.
I feel bad for him. Huge Knicks loss today.
