Same. It is the reason I think the Knicks probably move on from both Randle and RJ at the right time.

OK, that was good. Joker is something special.

They put supporting players around Jokic who know and accept their respective roles. Murray is basically the only starter besides Jokic who seems to be given the go ahead to go 1/1 on a regular basis.

They all move without the ball when Joker has it BECAUSE THEY KNOW JOKIC WILL REWARD THEM FOR THEIR EFFORTS. Guys cut to the basket all the time, and set up on the outside knowing Jokic won't just take the ball down low all the time attempting to score.

Brunson, Randle, and Barrett can all pass the ball. They aren't assist savants like NJ, but can pass the ball. The problem is that all three, including Brunson, are over-dribbling while looking for their shot, and frequently ignoring other players, who don't move to get into position for open shots because they realize they won't be passed to.

No, this is not always the case for us, of course, but watching Denver, and also Miami, makes you understand that team ball is something you should strive for, and something you have to establish, practice, and stick to, during the regular season.

For me RJ sucks at passing. Randle is a willing passer but more of a desperation, needs an outlet cause he can’t shot the ball passer although once in a while facilitates. And Brunson should be better a passer than I thought I saw this season and hopefully will get better.

I feel like it’s a whole team problem, as guys aren’t always providing good targets for a pass.

MIP Randle averaged 6 assists per game… but it seemed like there was often a good outlet (frequently Bullock) … up until the playoffs rolled around.

I keep hoping that with time/continuity, ball movement will improve. So I won’t cry if we run it back.

Randle is really athletic and quick but completely predictable once you can get a whole lineup to prepare for the moves he has, and Randle really has not many counters against solid D.

Love JVG the coach of Knicks. The color man on a broadcast? Pass.
Prefer SVG.

agree. JVG's act is old and some of his ideas are nuts -- including his recent one to eliminate free throws. Mark Jax was never good IMO. I also find it strange he keeps sayin hand-down man-down. Isn't that a reference to gun violence, as are players' (including Melo's) three shots to the head. Seems very funny they allow that. We deserve better

would like to see some new people given a shot. Mark Jones and his fish-grease are tired too. ANd Reggie Miller and his blatant biases need a rest. I generally think he can do a good to great job but if certain teams are playing (not just Knicks) i find him unbearable.

Mark Jackson makes me want to dunk my head in a bucket of Quikrete.

No wonder he hasn’t gotten a job since GSW.

Man, get us some Gabe Vincent. Offer him a deal and sign and trade with Evans contract, and a protected first and Deuce. Then you can sign some more talent with the MLE like Divicenzo and trade IQ and Mitch for KP. Brunson/Vincent, Grimes/ Divenzo, RJ/Hart, Randal/Obi, KP/Heart. Plus still have picks and talent to trade. I don't know I am on a KP kick
