Heat missed 30 three’s —- Lowry/Love/Vincent 2-18 ——- we need these 3 to stay pumpkins Friday.
Jimmy actually played 43 minutes which could be good for us if refs don’t give him 40 free throws.
Think Grimes could be more solid defensively- he’s been guessing wrong directionally and giving some blow bye’s. Have to keep Jimmy in front - limit penetration Friday.

So at least whatever happens to the series we've gotten a better RJ, a functional Obi (with some good spurts), Grimes hopefully in a breakout. IQ got hurt but of all our second team he seemed to have made the least progress (and lost several mil in the process) and Deuce still needs time.
This game does make you feel better but that feeling could turn quickly with a stinker Friday.
RJ has been LARGE all playoffs- not just efficiency but more so decision making has been spot-on and his defensive effort has been solid if not great imo.
IQ and Julius very disappointing for me.

We have good chemistry. It was great seeing d rose hyped when Robinson hit free throws

So strategy looks like to keep Jimmy from becoming playoff Jimmy (35 points +) while hoping that allowing them to keep shooting threes eventually leads to some regression to the mean. Because the alternative is to keep single coverage on Butler, in which case you risk getting playoff Jimmy plus them hitting lucky threes as they need them.

Probably accurate on the strategy but harder to pull off in Miami.
For me I feel like Heat have won the dirty play battle all series- more hard screens, more hard fouls, getting to more loose balls.
We somehow have to win that part of the game without imploding if refs get to blowing whistles

Our defense does need some work, but you can also see that the Heat have a crisp passing game, drive and kick out, which compensates for the lack of individual talent outside of Butler and Adebayo.
