No. Roster space is at a premium. I see value in the second round for sure but I can’t currently see the benefit of 4 2nd rders when I have all of my 1st round draft picks and 4 conditionals. I don’t think those conditionals land a superstar. But I do think they combine to move up in drafts to get the guy we are targeting. And there is real value there.
so who is the pg now for Suns, Payne?
is Booker going to play the 3
seems like a real awkward fit
but listen they just fired CoY so they must be geniuses

IT is the proxy GM, no?
Stephon Marbury, PG
Bradley Beal, SG
Devin Booker, SF
Kevin Durant, PF
Deandre Ayton, C
Now, get in the truck!

Not at all. I also think Mat Ishiba is drinking IT’s Koop-Aid. They went from having all of their draft picks and one of the best young rosters in the league to being a hard capped with injury laden superstars that haven’t shown the ability to win. I mean,
[CP3]/Booker/Bridges/Johnson/Ayton looked like a super team for 10 years with something taking CP3’s place and filling in the blanks with Vets and draft picks.
Now, they basically are hard capped and have Beal and Durant looking to get paid like 80% of the cap by themselves and between them can’t play more than 60 games.
I wouldn’t trade the Knicks position in the league for the Suns at all. They are Brooklyn West. Yeah, they may win some games, but they are one MCL away from being down for a decade.
I hate what the Suns did. I think they fd up big time. That roster is going to blow up in their faces.

Ahahaha!
But of course our old dear friend KD is there being cool - can't imagine him being part of a s#!t show.
Ibisha got new owner syndrome. Issiah whispering sweet nothings in his ear got him all hyped to make a splash.
Its still June, not ready to even accept letter grades or prognostications as to what happens.
Its easy to say these starphuchs don’t work out. Brooklyns two tries failed. The Deron/Joe/KG/Pierce version and the recent KD/Kyrie/Harden try. Lakers got one with lebron, and Heatles got 2 out possible 4. CBA with new “Apron” is interesting and the financials will be worth watching.
Booker gonna love one of Beal or Durant missing half the season and then the other getting injured just before playoffs. Rinse and repeat for a couple of seasons until they blow it up

I actually thought Booker was the biggest loser in these transactions. He is like 2nd best SG in the league. Good positional size. Had an elite defender to pick up the best wing. Had a pass first PG and floor general nearing the end of his career but not competing for looks - so he got a lot of good looks. Turn around and you have two ball dominant, high usage players. Instead of being a 6'5 SG he is now a 6'5 SF. He has 2 other players with +30% usage to compete with for shots. And now he is the best defender on the wing.
Ishiba starphuched what was probably the best young core in the NBA. And Booker is going to bear the brunt of it.

Contract aside, this is where I’m at with it.
At the end of the day, I’m just glad he didn’t land in Miami because that would have been a problem for the Knicks.

Durant will end up running point. I’m not kidding.
