Yeah the rumor right now on twitter is Deuce for Kessler.

seems like only yesterday we were pinning our hopes on Jose Calderon

Very important for us to reflect upon that truth.

Xavier Tillman is gone too, in the meantime.

I guess we are not a player in the FA market until all the money dries up and our $5m TPMLE becomes interesting to whoever is left.
Though Phila has just signed Drummond for the same amount, I wonder why the Knicks did not make a play for him.

Drummond signed before Ihart did. Seems like the Knicks were putting all their center hopes on Ihart returning.

Desperate times yet?

At the same money, Drummond might have preferred Philly. He has played there before.

Beggers can't be choosers.

Only thing is he might have got more minutes here.

Saric isnt a defender, but he gives an effort on the boards and can shoot. He gives them a different look - he would be an interesting person to combine with Achiuwa who cant stretch the floor.
KnickDanger @ 7/2/2024 6:19 PM
Side note - Saric taken with one of the #1’s included in the Carmelo Anthony trade.

Ewww, David. I mean Martin

BigDaddyG @ 7/2/2024 8:42 PM
I mean, what do we have to lose?
BigDaddyG @ 7/2/2024 8:48 PM
He can hit layups at least.
VDesai @ 7/2/2024 9:16 PM
Jonathan Isaac gets an extension. So they re-signer Wagner and Goga and extended Isaac.

What are they gonna do with all these centers? Seems like Carter is their best guy, but surplus...

Does Goga stragley and yet magically somehow fits into a Knicks TPE that’ll be around when he can be traded again?

24 fouls for when they play the Sixers.

Bryant, Theis, Saric, or Tilman for me.

1) Don’t think Kessler is realistic. Would take it in a heartbeat though. Doubt the price will be reasonable though.
2) Tyus Jones and Gary Trent are interesting players still available.
3) This team could win with Taj at Backup. The first 4 are as strong or stronger players than 95% of the league. Big 4. Will find a backup C.
5) Deuce, DDV and Hart took playoff teams to the brink. Entire rotation has playoff chops.
6) Patience is the winner in free agency. A lot of bargain basement deals will be left to be had.
7) Offer Lebron the $5m MLE. Make him say no. :).
Nalod @ 7/2/2024 11:06 PM
My goodness some of you are near despondent and automatically calling out the FO as being oblivious to iHart situation.
It was one day. Guess what, FO might not bing bonging it thinking we the big run is this year. It might be next.
Just saying.

Wendall Carter makes 12 this year, and 10mm next year. He not coming for free and can we take his contract??
I'd roll with Precious.

Whose expiring and would get a buy out? need to stay under the apron to sign such a player, Clint Cappella? He is older Mitch.
Patience fellow UKers. Not sure how it will pan out, or if it does, but we got a hell of a team. Chips are won in June, not July.
