I saw a sister Knicks Podcast is closing and some of its members may be migrating here to Ultimate Knicks. First off welcome. Just like to mention many of us here may have been members of PSD forums and migrated to Ultimate Knicks because while we all discussed the Knicks, the Forum at Ultimate Sports is way more chill and friendly. So if you migrate here, note the differences. Threads are open for anyone to create, conversations are not limited to a few threads. Also people don't take winning an argument over a player or acquisition seriously. We discuss all manners of topics in a more tongue and check way. So welcome but respect the differences of the forums and don't bring the toxic culture with you. Perhaps, other posters here can chime in and discuss the beauty of the Ultimate Knicks forums culture as they see it inorder to acclimate members arriving shortly. Don't be the people who move into a nice neighborhood inorder to turn it into your old neighborhood.
Also maybe don't use your former user names from PSD. Start new, life is change. Don't identify with who you used to be or ask who another person was at PSD so not to carry over old biases good or bad. Start fresh and approach interacting on Ultimate Knicks differently then how you used to on PSD. Do things the Ultimate Knicks forum way for now on.

We don't come here to white knuckle arguments to prove we are right or the ultimate team experts. We get into the weeds at times but not at the expense of fun. We even when we have a skirmish never escalate it, a sense of humor is the best moderator

For former members of the defunct Pro Sports Daily Forum, this board doesn't force conversations to remain in one designated thread. For example, if your discussing a trade it has to stay strictly in a thread for that topic. Inorder to discuss a trade or a free agent signing you don't have to have a link to said transaction to discuss it. Posters here don't keep a discussion here firing hot about a player they felt should have been drafted, or signed at the expense of another for 3 or 4 years. Then posters here don't go and search old posts from 3-4 years ago, to prove a point they have to " I' ll show that guy ". We dont claim expertise for making a opinion that might go out way and have to crow about it non stop. You guys at PSD might recognize what I am talking about. If that was your culture and the ecosystem you enjoyed, great for that past now dead forum. Just recognize the extent that those type of behaviors were practiced is not typical here. Many former members have come here to avoid that sort of thing. So if that is what you want to replicate, then those of you can keep your community alive at a Patreon, that was started by a PSD Knicks member. Or start one at Reddit.

It's the most 'mature' Knicks site imo. Most of the members are adults and keep the conversations civil yet fun and productive.
