Knicks · Hart will sign for his max extension: 4 years, $81M (page 2)

Good deal. What separates Hart from some other glue guys is his attitude. I believe that Hart's intensity also played a role the win streak. That we watched from his first game as a Knick. Hart helps keep the team fired up, along with the production.

Starks used to have the same effect, when he was a 6th man.

Alpha1971 @ 8/9/2023 2:18 PM
If Hart adds a dependable 3 pt shot with all he already does, he can be the OG player we all want He is not 6'7 but if he gets to .39 percent with his other skills we are cooking with fish grease.

A little more than I would have liked but the extra 3 million per year was probably a gift since he opted in

inevitable. He was great at the end of the year. If he produces like that he is well worth it. If not he's still a good player and a guys that you want on your side

If you think about it outside of maybe size/shot-blocking most any guy we could grab at this point Hart would be better all around fit and team fit —- might even have career year getting those extra mins at the 4.

I'm really curious to see how Steve Kerr uses him on team USA

Cap management: good!

Hart gets a dependable 3 pt shot at volumn, and RJ picks up his efficiency at the rim and from 3 and we will be golden. I
Iproved play from RJ, Hart, IQ, Grimes and we will be a top 3 seed in the East. With assets to get better. Wow can't believe we are in this position after so many years of crap. Can't wait to the season. When teams get good they get good returns on their draft picks and free agent signings and we have done that well the last few years. Except for Obi and Cam we have hit on trades, signings, and draft picks. Good teams also get lucky on low budget low risk moves time for us to see a Knight, Roby, or Windler ( ? ) Shock the team with their contributions.

Knicks doing small ball but at the 4 instead of 5 spot for bench rotation.

Barrett is more of a 4 than Hart.

RJ did look strong in those FIBA highlights. But, I'm more worried about the lack of height across the roster. Most teams that operate that kind of rotation have strong shooting across their roster.

I like Hart but I really hope this doesn't mean we aren't giving IQ an extension.
ToddTT @ 8/9/2023 8:36 PM
The knicks just signed ToddTT to a 4 year extension. $0M per year, but it may come with lots of ups and down, frustration, pain, and shattered dreams! I can't wait!!! 😃

Todd I pay to see you on the cheerleader squad. Remember the Male Knicks dancers.

Overpaid! Do you at least bring Randle his son Gatorade on demand?

Yep

It’s pretty fair value. Even if his value to the team isn’t as extreme as it was last season, it should still be a good deal for both sides.

Why you gotta hate on RJ so directly?

I can't post those pictures. It will break the internet for sure.

That sounds like a pressure cooker. I'd be afraid of disappointing Kyden.
