Right on! And phuck ex-Knicks fans who turn into Raptors fans!

Dolan may not be the worst or the best owner but he certainly is most petty.....so we have that win.
JesseDark @ 10/16/2023 9:57 PM
I think he is still mad at then Andrew Barnagaini trade . Petty at its best no wonder he is a Trunp supporter, seems like a move Trump would do.

He does make a nice sphere though

Surprise! They're not guilty! Why, because they pinky swear, that's why!

The only place with more people who are not guilty than a jail is a courtroom.

Way I read into things:

Collective bargaining and anti trust history has little or no disputes settled in a court of law. Its usually held in house.
Knicks felt there was a tight timeline to mitigate damage and the request was made. when ignored, and im guessing league was not going to enforce it without looking into it I assume time mattered. Thus, knicks filed the lawsuit asap.
I'll guess knicks drop it and it gets settled inside the league. Raptors will pay a fine. Do they demand Azatom get fired? Do knicks ask for a pick as compensation?

Oh good take, thanks.

Knicks asking for 10 mill from Raptors.

https://fansided.com/posts/knicks-demand...

In their Monday, Nov. 20 court filing, the Knicks asked for $10 million in damages and have argued that Adam Silver be barred from arbitrating the dispute due to his relationship with Raptors' Governor Larry Tanenbaum and their belief in the limited powers the commissioner holds to award monetary damages over intellectual property theft.

I don't see it, just let the commisioner arbitrate this and keep it moving.

I'm glad that the Knicks cited possible preferential treatment by Silver. He's been as bad as Stern, when it comes to the Knicks.

Maybe next time Silver has to make a ruling on something Knicks related, we'll catch a break. Work the ref.

So we called Adam Silver dishonest without having proof. Just running our damn mouth...and you think next time Adam Silver will do us a favor? That's backwards logic imho. We are doing this for what? 10 mil? A second round pick? And making an enemy out of the commissioner in the process. This sounds like a terrible idea

Instead of addressing the disconnect in the logic you attack me. Ok let me get this straight, your logic doesn't make sense and it's because I am an Adam Silver fan? Lol ,yeah ok

Looks like just another one of Dolan's tantrums caused by his uncontrollable inferiority complex. From the Knicks basketball point of view, completely useless and potentially harmful. Getting $10m from the Raptors does not move the needle for the Knicks fandom. Let's just hope Silver does not get pissed off at our organization to sock us in some way in the future.
Quite amazing how Dolan's shrewd business acumen completely abandons him when it comes to Knicks basketball operations, where he behaves like a helpless, naive and pouty infant.

Completely agree. The benefits do not outweigh the price. 10 mil is s really a few pennies. The low picks we can barely do anything with at this point. Yes, once we are capped out and hopefully a contender any low picks will hold their weight in gold because they take up much less salary. My point was that whatever reimbursement we might get pales in comparison with making a straight up enemy with Adam Silver for no particular reason. Other than being petty, thanks to I guess Dolan.

Chandler @ 11/21/2023 1:06 PM
does anyone know what the alleged trade secrets involve?

silver is a stooge.

Nalod @ 11/21/2023 3:49 PM
Everyone hates all commissioner's in the sports they feel most passionate about.
Right? They boo them all.
Silver is paid by the ownere. Not the fans. Not the players. He is an attorney by training. Stern was a dick, so I silver.
Both have done great by the sport. They make more money, fans love the product, TV revenue increases, and the players make sick money.
Does he get everything right? Who does?

Dolan just resigned from committees and going after Raptors in court because he thinks there is conflict of interest by Silver. Owner if Raptors is tight with Silver.
He might have a point.
Every picture of Dolan shows him slumped over in the chair looking miserable. Media hates him too.
In the end im rooting for him to win! Why? We win.
Knicks in good hands with Leon. That's all that matters for now.

If The assistant that took our proprietary did it on own volition then he should be fired.
If he was told to do it Raptors should pay dearly.
If Silver thought it was frivolous to penalize Raptors as Dolan wishes, perhaps he has a point we should consider?
Dolan petulance vs Silvers intellect? I'm siding with intellect.
If knicks have a valid argument for sure hope we stick them but good!
Good luck getting a deal on OG! LOL
