Yes that's the worry.
Giving up 41 in a quarter....secondary
prob the 20th time IND has scored 40 in a quarter this year...
but your star has to have his head on right.

This was probably circled as a cupcake stretch before the season and might be the toughest 3 games we play all year in a row. All 3 teams are very good now and also matchup nightmares it seems.
Evan shooting 100% FT on the season. Shutting the haters up!

I remember the beginning of the season when I would say we need more wing size I was met with " We don't need size, our small players will beat teams with superior quickness on offense and defense" Good times.

I'd be more upset if he didn't want to take it to Obi. They are getting their butts kicked and he wears his emotions on his sleeve. Randle has been playing all NBA level for a few weeks now he gets a pass IMO. Wish Brunson had that fire against Haliburton who got the all star nod over him last year.

You said we need a backup PF, not more wing size.

take it to him sure, but he's on the verge of a meltdown and unfortunately we've seen that too many times from him.

You said we need a backup PF, not more wing size. Not true. I said we need more size and at the very least a back up PF. Read the transcripts bro. It's all in black and white
For whatever reason I would say we need wing size people would distort what I said that we needed a PF to replace Obi then some posters would argue we don't need an Obi replacement. Not acknowledging the point I made over and over again.
Could be worse - Toronto just lost to the Pistons.

Not making excuses and would agree that OG will improve defense but the entire NBA has had a tough time dealing with Pacers offense. Seeing they are number one in points scored.

My star?
Noted.

Yea I've been making this point that we need to shift back to that style since we gave up like 150 points to the Bucks in the tournament. I'm glad we took a big step to get back to defense. This team isn't built to outgun anyone.

You know what we have seen a lot more of from him?
.....DOUBLE DOUBLES!!
DDV decided to make his case he should keep starting tonight that's for sure.

He would be ideal taking IQs bench role. We need a starting legit 2.
Wally circling Feb 1st on his calendar.

So 38 points on 70% shooting with 7 3pts, 6 rbs, 4 steals, not good enough for ya?
Tough matchup with our skeleton crew. Brunson, Randle and DDV were great. The depth hurt. Fournier sucks. That’s all.

He is not consistent. So no for me. Unless we get a Malcolm Brogdon for the bench, I want DDV off the bench and a better starter, two way, for the SL.
I don't think we would have beat them with a full pre-trade team tonight(minus Grimes and Mitch sick/injury scratches). Our defense sucks. They have a guard that can toy with us. Dante's shooting is nice but once Mitch went down and Grimes stop starting our defense fell off a cliff. I heard someone say us scoring 130 a night might not be enough to get wins for us. It is that bad. Even with Grimes not shooting enough he helped on defense so we were at least respectable. Now we are bottom of the league type defense.
