Knicks · WOJ - Rozier to Heat for Lowry and a 2027 FRP (page 3)

Hayward will be 34 in March, Lowry 38! Kyle is the Taj of point guards. Really give him credit as he is still averaging just under 30 minutes a game. His production has slipped...the question with both is what to expect in a lesser role? Of course if Brunson sits a game or so you could expect Thibs to play Lowry 40 .

At low cost either is certainly worth a flyer but does it keep you from making a move that would really help the team?

Those advanced talk rumors are legit smh. I just hope we don't give up anything of significant value

I'm still holding out hope for Dejounte.

I'd feel comfortable giving up one of this year's picks and Fournier for brogdan.

somehow someway that squad is gonna be a total pain in the ass for whoever they play. Honestly I love the East. Clearly Celtics are the class... Phili SHOULD be but they have an MVP who folds literally every year in the playoffs. Then you have Milw who I think SHOULD be the class but they puked it up the Heat last year and also find new an inventive ways to implode in the playoffs.

I legit think we got a punchers chance with the OG (it's bad) trade. If we do something like add Brogdon and get a little lucky (healthy and maybe Mitch off the bench and effective) we can beat anyone. Especially with point Jules and A1 sauce Brunson cooking

I’d like to see Heat beat Cavs in first round, prod Donovan along to a Knicks trade.

Let Miami do our dirty work 😏

I trust Begley more than anyone probably. I'll take his sauces on this one as much as I'd love Brogdon.

True. But it's no longer late last week.

Solid point.

They know they're not long for this league. Hayward doesnt have a ring, so there might be more incentive for him to take a bench role. Good point about their ages.

We put any solid 6th man with Mitch in the 2nd unit, and we should be in good shape. We get a quality backup PF as well, and we'll be in great shape. A roster like that in the playoffs would tell us what the next move should be on the offseason.

Players traded to the Knicks this season will see a starting unit that works. Makes it easier to accept a bench role, I imagine. There isnt a weak link in the starting lineup.

If the Knicks add Brogdon or Lowry we are going to the ECF. That’s really what it comes down to.

McBride is playing really well and deserves mins so it could be better with Lowry if Portland is asking for too much.

something that didn't get talked much about is that Rozier has one of the worse +/- in the NBA....and it hasn't gotten any better 2 games into his Heat career.

Still a good trade for them but I don't think it moved the needle THAT MUCH

Plug and play.
Charlotte was pretty awful this season. That might have something to do with it?
Its not talked about because it does not transfer. His 23ppg won’t likley either.
He is on a new team with new role.
Rozier gaudy pt avg. was elevated given the amount of games Lamelo missed?
The needle gets moved when it moves. I never talk shit about Miami because in time they will be there more times than not. They might just make the play in game. They might even lose one, then scratch and claw into Conf finals. Oh, yeah, that!
The way they do rosters with vets leaves them vulnerable to injury but if they get into post season healthy even if a low seed they are dangerous.
I love nothing than to see Riley in pain and heat get bounced. They are evil. Evil finds a way.
Im confident we can beat them this week. IN a series? Im rooting for my team and against them. When the seriies is over and they hugging it out THEN im happy! I have too much respect for them to talk shit. In the last 20 years they have done far more than the knicks have.
