No sports radio or TV today for me me just want the next game to begin so we can get this thing over with.

Brunson can't play hero ball, has to utilize his teammates in OT and no jump passes. Every coach I've had since grade school has preached that.

No cute passes to Mitchell Robinson. If you not giving him an alley op he doesn't have a move to do anything with it.

Make free throws.

Coach utilize Precious and Burk.

I fear that Philly has found the right balance of rest for Embiid so that he is not exhausted down the stretch.

DDV is more like starks than we really thought? Starks would go cold at times. Or have we forgotten.
DDV is not loose. He playing to his contract?
he is Due.

DDV played 26 min.
Deuce 33.

Nurse played 8 guys. Paul Reed played 4 min.
Thibs played 7.

No Mo Bamba. No Buddy.

Think Philly fans are cut and pasting our rants and posting on "Ultimate76er.com"

Since I have gotten older and matured losses no longer bother me. Only victories give me joy and losses don't phase me cause why should it bother me ? But this last loss almost bothered me for a minute. Suffering for the loss of a source of entertainment isn't where I am at, when I was younger it did. But after so many Knicks losses over the years I have become immune to the pain. Looking forward to some pleasurable outcomes soon.

I mean, I think the shooting woes are somewhat correlated to the number of 7'0+ wingspans the Sixers are putting on the floor. They closed out with Maxey 6'7 ws, Oubre 7'3 ws (and F u to anyone who thought we shouldn't offer him the biannual), Nic Batum 7'1, Tobias Harris 6'11ws and Embiid 7'5 ws. I mean our guys are talented, spirited and all, but they lack positional size. This is the basis of the push for guys like OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, Herb Jones, Tari Eason. To even up the biometrics. DDV has had no room to shoot. They are making up for it in a lot of ways. Not saying that McBride's 6'875 is the total difference between him an DDV 6'6, they are clearly scheming to take away DDV's shot and McBride and Hart are in the ether in the game plan. Just that the Sixers take up a lot of floor space with their wingspan

It’s just that kind of matchup. East coast basketball. We played a 79-74 game against them this year. Frankly that’s how we want to play, we don’t want to get into a high scoring affair with these guys we don’t have the horses for that.

DLeethal @ 5/1/2024 5:16 PM
When we played Boston in 2012 as a 2-7 matchup we started 3-0 and lost 2 straight including game 5 at home. Went into Boston and handled business in game 6. Keep the faith.

Meh on the 2 min report. They shouldn’t have called a foul in game 2 and they shouldn’t have called a travel in game 5. Let the players decide the games. The only egregious error was not tossing Embiid in game 3. I’m fine with both sets of no calls in the final seconds of a playoff game.
VDesai @ 5/1/2024 7:13 PM
Didnt think the clock went to zero on the end of regulation block. We should have gotten 0.4 though that probably wouldnt have meant much

Slightly less venom for Mitch. Tho should have stayed on his feet. Don't like that a player is able to launch themselves forward there to create the contact for the foul either in general.

The two minute report means nothing. It's not like they're going to let everybody return to the court and replay everything. But the travel led to the foul call. The contact should've been ignored just like the travel was. Again, doesn't matter and what's done is done. The officiating has been inconsistent throughout this series and we should expect it to continue that way.
