I heard that on the Windhorst program. I thought it was 2.44, but I could be wrong. They said he had like 10 shots hit the front of the rim.
Doris was right when she said how hard he had to work to get shots off.
If his foot is that bad, its why Nesmith is sticky on him and he can't get buy. They are bumping him badly too.
It don't look good.
Maybe the Thibian Magic was going up 2-0?

When you play guys too much, the freak injuries (Julius‘, this one) start to surface. But yeah, was a great season.
I like us to win the chip next year. We just need a tweak and Thibs needs to learn (or rather be forced by the FO) to expand his rotations.
to all the chicken littles who say the season is over, you should start your vacation now.
we were a luck shot and bad reffing from being up 3-0
a little rest and recovery will do magic. We know what to do to win, and need to get back to it

I am with you. Is a best of 3 series now and we have home court advantage. Our guys have proven to be gritty. Determined.

about every poster here is inspired and in awe of what they have done in the face of adversity dealing with injuries.
I don't see any "Chicken LIttles" here. Nobody is irrationally pessimistic. Thats the tale of "Chicken Little".
One might say overly optimistic in Magic and rest might itself be foolishly delusional itself.
when an acorn falls on Foxy Loxy's head he too then thinks the sky has fallen.
If the knicks don't win this series then the sky fell.

yes they have. I like our chances if we go seven.
Given our injuries, we might have home court but we are now underdogs given our injuries.

You said it wrong.
These are athletes and they will get injured. All of them.
Some rare players don't sustain injuries but that's just an oddity.

We weren't ready to play. That's on Thibs and the Nova trio as leaders. It's the playoffs! Now it's a best of 3 with 2 at the Garden. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. I don't see OGA coming back. He's not the type to rush back from injury and he's entering free agency. I do think we can beat these Hicks without him IF we had Brunson at his best but he's clearly not. Brunson is a wounded animal right now. I have a ton of respect for him for what he's done and how he's not making any excuses. I just hate if this is how it ends this season. Cause if we had Brunson at his 40 ppg best, we'd beat these hicks easily imho even without OGA.
I'm in opposite world and we all saw it coming from like miles away as if Destiny was met by men with singles to spare and she started off in a Knicks jersey and looked fiiiiiiinnnneeee!
I had thought we would get blown out in Game 3 and play a close one in Game 4

I've been waiting for the "Thibs' fault" analysis on all the injuries. Surely you cannot blame Julius's, OG's, Bogs', or Mitch's on him. If you want to bust him for playing Brunson and IHart hurt then go ahead. But they and the doctors okayed it and how the hell else do you expect to win?
all this talk about tired, but Jalen, DDV, Jhart have all performed. the one guy that was huge against PHI and has disappeared is Deuce and that is what has really hurt us most outside of injuries. And I dont think it has anything to do with fatigue with him, he's just slumping at a bad time.

This has been a bad matchup for Deuce. He is a guy who's calling card was defense and he's struggling against TJ. But he has to make his 3s on offense the way his role works out. I think the small lineup works if you have Deuce and DiVo bombing 3's. Then you can live with the Pascal matchup on Hart because you have this shooting to fall back on. I'm not ruling him out just yet, but he has to turn it around. Amazing that he's a key figure in the 2nd round of the playoffs when he started the year without a role.

Oh shoot, I already forgot Bogs was on this team.

Yea when we experienced 2 new injuries in this series on top of the 2 we were dealing with already, Deuce's importance magnified even more as really our only bench guy at times, going against a team with an elite bench. Him scoring 12-14 points is such a lift for us.
Bogdonavic was scoring 10 ppg in 20 mpg. He wasn't playing up to his standard, but he was 6'8", you had to defend him and he created his own offense. For a team down Randle and lacking in bench scoring this was an important player. Basically means the only guy on the bench we have that is capable of scoring points is Deuce. Now Burks has at least come back, but its a lot of pressure on Deuce.

I think Burks can fill the Bogs role well enough.
Deuce is the guy that's kind of irreplaceable, his development made the OG trade make more sense.

you're the president of the chicken little club. either embrace that or stop acting like they lost already
every champ has been knocked to the mat. the difference is the champ gets back up. You have to be able to take a punch. Sometime things in life don't go the way you want. might be your fault. might be someone else's or no one's. Just get back up and keep swinging
wait for the season to be over before starting with how happy you are they outperformed etc.
right now it's time to root for them; there's a lot to like. they're smarter and tougher than their opponent and 66% of the remaining games are at home

Presumed presidential nominee actually.
Love the testosterone induced WWE hype thing your doing.
No need to reread but Im not the one turning off the game when down, I stuck it out the whole game.
Im not blaming the refs, or bitter over circumstance. Im being real and maybe counting the blessing we were up 2-0. Things went right for us.
Our injuries have drained out talent. Im rooting hard for this team to win.
The sky fell. Its great we got here. its great we tied. And it would be fantastic if we can win 2 of the next three.
Even if Becky Hamman is wrong, and our little giant was NOT HURT then I would not be doing this. We don't know whats wrong with Jalen. He playing with a fracture? Torn Ligaments? And he is gutting it out. But don't ask me to go all Bing Bong stupid and say just because they have been doing it they can continue.
I saw a team hit the wall. Me believing has no bearing on anything. I'm not delusional.
Man I think the one team this team does when facing adversity / a small losing streak / too many injuries is find away to play harder and surprise us. Its happened time and again. I may be wrong, but still think theres a story to tell here
