I was looking up some regular season stats and after Siakam trade 1/17, Hali & Siakam played 32 mpg and everyone else was 30 and lower.

I love it. Hoping the Knicks can get closer to this.

Did we try to take advantage of his pain? Of course we did. We won.
Im not trying to enlighten you, just point out your lack objectivity at times.
Refs miss calls but over a series do they get it about even?
A few punctual misses hardly makes anyone "Illiterate". Content matters. Objectively and facts matter.
Thank you for the compliment "Socratic". When I say I have more questions than answers your implying I am set on being "right" and should consider I am not? Really? Thats me saying I don't know, but some of your conclusions are not accurate or lack objectivity.
"Us"? Its not a blanket statement, there are views not personalities. I might agree with you on one post and not on another. Perhaps only one or two posters seem to get most of their stuff incorrect.
Dan Patrick railed ESPN broadcast of game 7 as being totally disrespectful to the Pacers. JJ and Doris gave major props to knicks efforts and not the excellence by the Pacers. They did of course point out it was a historically good shooting display in a game 7. Annoying as it is Halliburton smiling is taken as a "joy to play". Magic Johnson had that too. I respected him but did not like the clown act.
Homer in you thinks pacers should have been more humble given knicks injuries? I disagree. Despite knicks being shorthanded they came into MSG and won game 7. Its ok to disagree.

Rick Carlisle coached a team to a chip in Dallas. You see "Whiney Bitch", I see a guy doing his job. You see lack of humility on Dallas, but Carlisle flat out called Thibs "Best in business". The end of the series they all hugged it out and left it on the floor.

"Socratic", wow! Maybe Martin will let me change my name? "Citarcos"!

if that was your point it was a dumb one. I'm saying objectively that JB got hosed. And your response is Embid got phantom calls and we still won. How is that even related -- it's the opposite.

i am not implying you're right. IN fact i think you're often wrong. WHat i'm saying is it's tiring to hear you constantly question people on the board whether they're thinking about things deep enough -- you know like you do. Except when you think deep, you come to the conclusion that because Embid went to the line a lot and we won, it's objectively correct that JB wasn't hosed.

Pacers should have been more humble. I'm not saying they shouldn't have been happy, but seriously wearing a Reggie sweatshirt with the choke sign when the Knicks were the exact opposite of choke. This just goes to show what i've been saying all along. YOu come to some conclusion that there's another side to the story, and the mere fact that there's another side makes it more worthy, and you're trying to enlighten us to that view. The reality is that sometime the other side really is the stupid side. Implying the Knicks choked is one of them. If you can't appreciate that maybe you should change your handle to "ymmud"

Anyway, I'm going to stop calling you out on this, but the lecturing tone from you is annoying especially when you're logic is weird

Haliburton wearing the choke sweatshirt about their just concluded series or a nod to Reggie back in the day.
You took it as knicks just choked the series
?
Difference is you want to call me names, I comment on your content.
My logic is weird because you come from a "HomerCentric" side. Knicks get hosed, pacers should be Humble, and Carlisle is a whiney bitch. Things are unfair. They are. Your posts are whiney.
Bing Bong.

you took that differently, and you call yourself objective? hahaha

That's kind of the definition of "Objective"

Say what? I'll go back to my illiterate comment and suggest you visit a dictionary

of all the reggie paraphernalia in the universe, haliburton chooses the one where reggie is giving the choke sign and you interpret that as him merely being supportive of reggie -- nothing more. I guess a reggie miller jersey or t shirt was unavailable

Nalod you're arguing a weak, dumb position

They were really interesting before the trades. Haliburton was basically the only guy with a "foundational" role. Everywhere else was a platoon. I think that most players need 20 minutes a night to perform consistently. Its very hard to not ghost or have a night where the bad clearly out weighs the good in 10-15 minutes. The Pacers had a lot guys with similar impacts and played all of them. It was pretty cool to see a team with one star and 8 or 9 guys that were treated pretty similarly with regard to both minutes and touches. Turner was almost always above 25 and got a lot of screening action but otherwise it was equal opportunity other then Hali. There combinations were also very random seeming before the trades. They would play different groups together all the time. I thought playing guys playing in unfamiliar combination often would hurt the team but it didn't seem to. The Pacers weren't a great team this year but they were an interesting one
