You serious? You can't really be saying playing time caused a broken hand right?

Honestly who cares. We got every win we could and its worth it. Everyone on the team would sign up to play

You right.

Eff that...I'll be rooting for an earthquake to swallow up TD Garden in the middle of the first quarter of game one.

I don't want this fucking Pacer team to win a single quarter, let alone a game.

DuckVader @ 5/19/2024 6:11 PM
Knicks scored enough to win; it was the defense that didn't hold up. Burks showing up is good. He's a 20-minute guard at the very least. McBride still has a season or two. For some reason our guards couldn't stay in front of theirs. But that would've been not as much of a problem if we had Mitch and OG/Randle. We just became too slow, small or unathletic at the front.

F Boston

I dont care about the East anymore. Hope Dallas or Denver/Minny win the chip.

But wow, I don’t even care about the Pacers. We were beaten by injuries. It was like a horror film kind of thing. Injuries can happen any time, but this still needs to be a point to improve next season. Better management of rotation and more working on conditioning. This was ludicrous and Brunson fracturing his hand on this last game? Gimme a break!

NYStateOfMind @ 5/19/2024 6:14 PM
I'm rooting for the Celts to wipe the smug smiles off the Pacers, and then any Western team to sweep the Celts.

I'm proud of our Knicks, but they still won't get their respect. We finished this game with NO pre-season starters left. I hope JB doesn't play for the Olympic team as a replacement. They test out the Euro-stash again, draft 1 quality player pick up a clutch scorer, a backup PG like Tyus, and run it back. with as many as we can keep. Thanks, Knicks for an exciting season, one of the best of my life and I've been following since the early 80s. You did us proud.

You know what I used to think like you. I mean that's what we said with Randle then OG then Mirchell (again) then Hart now Brunson. There's only one correlation.

And I said it at the start of the game. You can check my past comments. Brunson wasn't right from the start! And maybe this goes back to Game 6 idk

I want to SAY that I don't dislike Thibs at all. He's the best coach we had since the 90s. And we should resign and extend him indefinitely. And I don't even mind the 40mpg but it got ridiculous with the 45-48mpg

MS @ 5/19/2024 6:26 PM
Take aways.

DDV is special. Burks should have been playing all playoffs, what an effort tonight.

We have all the Hart in the world. OG thank you for
Competing and getting out there but he can’t be counted on long term.

JB is our hero, but too much one on one and killed offense, but fuck give the man a foul, absurd he had to beg for a call. Hand check, TJ… at home?

Thank you JHart and all the boys for an incredible season.

Pacers are a team of bitches, Haliburton travels every play and the fact they were talking in this scenario is
Disgraceful.

Proudest of any Knick team in 30 years. Great season boys!!

TheMTL @ 5/19/2024 6:37 PM
I love the Knicks and love my team. We have a true title contender when fully healthy and we have the picks and contracts to still upgrade the roster.

Knicks are back in the bag! This will be a team to enjoy for

DuckVader @ 5/19/2024 6:48 PM
Yeah, I'd rather they not trade any of the key players. We have a team that's at least 10 deep if healthy. JBrunson, JRandle, MRob, OG, DDV and then JHart, IHart, Burks, McBride and Bogs. I'd trade Sims and picks for a move up in the draft.

I'm not sure you could trade Sims for a moth-eaten Starks jersey let alone an improved draft position. The key to the offseason is how we deal with OG, Precious, and Randle. Should be interesting.

DuckVader @ 5/19/2024 7:33 PM
Ugh, and we once thought Sims meant something. OK, then I'd keep Randle. We need a release valve for scoring once they put pressure on Brunson, and that's either Randle or DDV. But I do think DDV has earned his keep that there have to be plays that allow him to let the ball fly either on one-on-ones or catch and shoots. So if we have Randle, DDV and JB that's 67-75 points. OG despite his injury is just enticing because of his defense and his ability to stretch the floor from the 4 position. We do need a big that has range beyond what Precious, Mitch and iHart have. So I can let go of Precious and maybe that's our draft upgrade, for a 5, or maybe someone in the early 30s with some range above 10 feet. Durant would be nice (personal toxicity aside) :)

Hard to accept but WE HIT THAT WALL.

So many likable players - tough to see this end.

I get that we were tired and short players but how did our defensive principals and defensive rotations just completely implode.

Deuce (who I love) was abused so badly I’m no longer sure he’s a defender.

LivingLegend @ 5/19/2024 8:48 PM
Worst part was losing to very weak ass Pacer team —- hate almost their entire SOFT roster.

Basically- nobody stayed in front of anybody and we NEVER adjusted.

I will be having nightmares seeing Deuce going over a thousand screens on PJ and watching every guy he guard waltz into the paint unimpeeded.

Not having Mitch hurt. Dribblers are less hesitant to drive into the paint when the big guy isn't there. Hart contests, but I don't he elicits the same fear in the McConnells and Haliburtons.

I have to say, if any player beat us this series, it was TJ McConnell. So many momentum plays. Timely steals, etc. What a 6th man.
