I have to say, if any player beat us this series, it was TJ McConnell. So many momentum plays. Timely steals, etc. What a 6th man.
Yea I hope the Pacers get embarrassed in the ECF. Proud of my team, shame to see it end like this. I don’t blame Thibs for the injuries but I think we learned what a solid 9 man rotation can do to a 7 man rotation. Knicks will prioritize quality depth and we will be better for it next year. I also think this team got a little too high after its wins in this series. Josh clowning Reggie and Dante calling them fake tough guys after big wins doesn’t look good in retrospect. Pacers talked their shit as well but they win at the end of the day. Champions don’t talk like that. Pacers will get their humble pie and we just got ours.

You smoking crack about Deuce or what ? He will be better next year and if the team is healthy his impact will be even better next year.

I see it differently, let the Pacers win it don't matter to me we are out of it. Don't care who wins any more or loses. Looking forward to next year. Just hope we have a healthier season. Depth next year and some luck would be nice.
I thought Deuce looked lost in the first half on D but the defense is tricky sometimes when guys are expecting rotations or switches that never come. The whole team looked lost for most of the first half. Hard to pin exactly who’s at fault sometimes. Overall they were Playing way too much prevent and just getting cooked by their jump shooters. Second half we play aggressive defense which you have to do against these guys.
At the end of the day without OG we seemed to be so short on firepower on both ends our only hope was Brunson dropping 45. Pacers were just the better team after game 2 when those added injuries hit.

I’m bitter and don’t like them.

They got lucky in proportion to how we got unlucky. To me Indiana is like the Hawks a few years ago. They will fall back next year. Philly I would have hated advancing
Disappointing ending to a fun season. It hurts and it sucks to lose especially at home to these hicks and after being up 2-0 and 3-2 in the season. Give them credit. They brought their A game offensively and made themselves comfortable very quickly in that first quarter.
Super proud of this team and the way they fought through all the injuries and adversity. It just wasn't our year. Much respect to OG for trying to play. Same goes for Hart. DVo and Burks balled out. Deuce will learn from this and be better. Hartenstein was not good.
I feel bad for Brunson having his incredible historic season end like this. Nothing but appreciation and love for him. He showed the world he is a 1A. And I believe he can and will get even better.
Gotta give Thibs credit too for getting the most out of this team. The injuries are annoying and concerning. I am not one of those who thinks the injuries are directly because Thibs overworks guys but we have to get to the bottom of it cause I don't wanna have a repeat of this shit in the future. We would have swept these hicks if we had our full team too.
Lastly, thank you martin and everyone here for another great season. Even though I don't always agree with some of you, ahem Nalod, I believe you all make me a smart and better fan.

Next year, have Rabbis, Shamen, Imams, Priests, Ministers come and say prayers and blessings next year cause we need some grace
I like Obi and hope he does well against Boston.

We just need to replenish the depth next year. Need to assume OG will be hurt a lot and draft a young bull who can keep the defense afloat and guard bigger forwards like Siakam without killing the offense like Precious. And we need someone who can run the offense when Brunson sits. Get a dynamite bench next year and this team will be top tier.
Thinking about it, if the Pacers do well against Boston, that would give me a bit more optimism for next season, in that we would be close. If Boston blow them out, then (injuries aside) we and the Pacers might just be two bald men fighting over a comb.
Due to work and commitments I was unable to follow the last two games - all for the best I feel. Depressed but also relieved in a way. The amount of injuries...never seen anything like it. I'm surprised they went as far as they did actually. Of course letting it slip away stings. Oh well - it was a great season!
Now it's time to take a breath and get back to the priority - trading Randle....

The version of the Knicks playing the Pacers is a shell of the healthy Knicks going into next season.
I get that, but we don't know how healthy we'll be during the 25 playoffs either.

Yep. And I'm pretty sure the Denver Nuggets felt confident going into this season. The org can allow itself to be swept into a false sense of security. There's still plenty of work to be done.
Developing 3D wings with those late picks is the priority as well as another ball handler. Would have like to see Deuce bring the ball up yesterday a bit more. The energy Brunson had to expend with guys draped all over him really took its toll.
Multiple plays yesterday defenders had two arms on his back and the contact they allowed wasn’t fair to a guy that’s going to be 2nd all nba.
Would have like to see Deuce bring it up more and give Jalen a breather.
Also, I know they will never call it, Haliburton traveling before every three pointer is a joke.
amazing season, cant complain. The worries about OG came to fruition though and that put a damper on things. Gotta get someone to play behind him next season.
We withstood the OG injury, but once Hart got hurt and became ineffective that really was the final straw. I mean he was flying all over the court grabbing offensive rebounds all game and defending before that injury. He wasn't the same after, he played to his height and that just made us too small.
we had our chances, if we had closed out G3 we probably win regardless, but there was just nothing left at the end.

Yea and Brunson breaking his hand made winning pointless. There was no more runway left after that.
I’m also happy no one suffered anything that will impact next season.

This goes for every team. Many teams got hurt and lost as a result. Happens every year.
