Pacome to Dadiet: Projecting Pacome Dadiet's NBA Stock

Stephen explains why Ratiopharm's Pacome Dadiet is ready now, while having as much upside as anyone in this class.

4 min mark, good stuff

EwingsGlass @ 6/29/2024 2:02 PM
Would Nicolas Batum make a good mentor for Dadiet?
martin @ 6/30/2024 11:46 AM
Seems like a genuinely nice kid

I was thinking Raymond Felton. We need to bulk this kid up and get him ready to play PF next season.

Pac Dadi signed for slightly less. I'd hate to negotiate salaries with Brock

VDesai @ 7/4/2024 2:36 PM
Smart negotiating. Now they dont have to stash him and he can come over. Gives us more room to sign Achiuwa and an MLE player

Kind of excited to see 'The Diet' (thanks Josh Hart!) play in SL. He looks like a lotto level prospect in his highlights.

Man I just love this pick by the Knicks the more I think about it. Perfect situation for him and team.

This dude that got such a quick, high, smooth release and then gets to practice against and learn defense from the best wing core in Hart, OG, Mikal. Even OG will contribute by missing a few games so Dadiet can get the 5 minute garbage time burn.

going overboard here (I'm sure) but based on small sampling of clips of Paco I have the belief that he is going to grow into a big time scorer.

At such a young age his jumper/form is PURE and it's quick as hell on the catch and shoot. He also loves to use the dribble to create and shoot mid-range very smoothly. Just think he has a natural aggressiveness and a pure quick stroke on his shot from mid and distance.

Pure. That’s perfect. I think his floor is pretty high just cause of that, ceiling too for same reason.

Last Knick I saw with such a smooth shot, Kevin Knox

I’m all in on PAC-man

Games seems to come easy to him and he seems to play within himself.

Agree re perfect fit

KEEPCAMBYNY @ 7/11/2024 8:04 AM
I could see him slowly developing into the role that Bojan was supposed to play. He seems to have a knack for finding the open space on the floor. I could see him getting some nice passes from Brunson and Julius.

Some truth there but possible advantage that Pacome was schooled in Europe, he scores more diversely vs Kev (going left/right, mid-range and off ball cuts) plus Pacome may actually love the game vs Kev and Fortnight.
