Getting Iman Shumpert vibes

Interesting comp. Might end up being the right one.

Shumps issues was erratic outside shot and eventual injuries.

Shump had some talent and got a ring with the Cavs right? And not sitting on the bench. Only finals team to come back down 3 - 1. Bad knee for one. Don’t know if the rap thing contributed. Just turned 34 - younger than Taj by some just sayin’……

True. Also had trouble finishing strong at the rim in his early years. Not clones, but I think the Shumpert comp. is a good one. They're both solid defenders but rough around the edges offensively.

And McCullers is not a good 3-point shooter just like shump

Shump played pretty excellent D - would he have been a “Thibs Guy?”

maybe I am missing something but I am not that excited about this guy. Hopefully he can prove me wrong during summer league.

Actually would be happy if he played like Caleb Martin!

Nevermind who signed him

Now that Hukporti has signed his 2-way, I wonder if the holdup with McCullar is possibly him being considered for the primary roster. He obviously dropped in the draft due to injury/ age but was still considered a late first to earlier second round pick that would put him into guaranteed roster spot territory. We will see what happens there.
