You probably disagree but I think we should have kept Julius.
At the time of the trade, felt KAT may be slightly better but no way he was worth the money.
Hoping it’s a system issue or that he just repeats what he did in the playoffs last year in this years playoffs.

I blame it on Jalen!!
Maybe if the Knicks offer KAT a little more financial incentive to play like an MVP?
I am going to remain positive and hope all the Knicks will by in sync when it counts.
And that KAT will show up.
He is playing too heavy and has always been a PF. He is also bad at defense, just slow footed. Maybe being lighter would help. As for his shooting that’s a system issue and a rhythm issue. He is either chucking a three or barreling to the rim against a good defender.

Offense in Miami dramatically different and Bam not figuring it out yet, just like KAT with Knicks
Integrating thread and Bam has been straight awful recently
Christ. It really is a lot like KAT...
2024–25: $34.85M
2025–26: $37.10M
2026–27: $51.18M
2027–28: $55.27M
2028–29: $59.36M (Player Option)
This is why we can't watch games on MSG any more. And listen to Clyde.

Every time I bump this thread KAT has a good game.
You're welcome.

The more the nba make, the more money these bums will get for being a tall shooter. If Mitch could hit threes and free throws, imagine how much he would make.
Initial reactions to this trade cominghome to roost.

First Leon move I hate. Oh well.

Leon is playing chess. The pieces like Mikal had to move first.
This is not a spur of the moment thing. Leon been putting this together for months.
Im sure there were other deals working also. But this one makes a ton of sense.
Go big or go home. Leon not going home.
Forget Yiannis
If I could trade KAT for Dillon Brooks and filler, I'd do it

NY better start being proactive in moving him before he has no value left, considering his contract.
At what point does Leon start getting the heat for all his BAD moves?

I just want Towns off the team. I'll take 5(4?) even 3 first round picks and an albatross contract( or two) and a backup center
What a fkin joke is Karl Anthony. I miss the spinover Randle :)

Leon doesn’t deserve any heat because he has this team still winning after 20 years of bad basketball. Knicks have been sustainably good his entire time here. We can’t fault him for not being perfect.
Only Knicks fans would be calling for Leon's head while being 2nd in the East with the highest odds to make the Finals.

Those odds are wrong. I'll take the other side of that bet.

Yea, congrats on having Brunson fall into your lap.

Who is the "your" in this statement? Cause we all Knicks fans and Brunson fell into OUR lap. After Leon hired Rick Brunson, made a show of bringing Randle to a playoff game in Dallas, and made all of the overtures when both Dallas and other teams did not.
He was an incredible UFA signing that was first overpriced and now under priced at his contract rate.
Knicks also turned Brunson from a very good player into an MVP type player.
Are you dividing the Knicks organization in half to pit one side against the other?

It must be all those 50+ win seasons the Knicks had between 2001-2020. Fanbase is spoiled.
