Plus the Suns would instantly improve team chemistry.

I think they're just better off letting the contract expire. The Suns aren't going to be contention anytime soon.

You’d rather pay the additional $230m and forgo getting access to the MLE if this were your team?

yeah, you right Skipped over the tax implications. I probably wouldn't use the MLE though. Whose left out there to sign?

I think you can trade into an MLE too, use it like a TPE.

Definitely not Malik Beasley though

Have to look into that. I think they're still hard capped at the second level and can't trade into the MLE.

Tre McBride........
or was it Uno McBride?

Ok well one Nuggets move this off season has already aged poorly.

Dare I add Bake McBride --- former Philly outfielder.

Bring it to the big leagues!

Houston trades Cam to Washington for two seconds. He was basically traded for that protected Washington pick.

Don’t know if they’ll be good but Washington should be fun to watch.

New OKC bit without an SGA

martin @ 7/5/2025 4:35 PM
Too bad we couldn’t have traded them Thibs

They can always fall back in the lottery. But pick 31-38 would be fine. Bet the Knicks trades their first rounder for a future first rounder so a Wizard second rounder in 26 27 would be fine

+1. Will have to catch a couple non Knick games this year.

It will be interesting to see if Grimes is as good as he was to end the seasson, which was extended garbage time.

Consistency has been an issue with Grimes. He was playing horribly during his last stretch with us when he got traded. Maybe he didn't know his role? He has also had some durability issues. Still a guy who can play defense the way he does and shoot 38% on a high volume of 3's has value. He isn't that bad putting the ball on the floor either. I don't think he's really a 20 pt scorer in the league, but if Kentavius Caldwell-Pope is a 22mm per year guy than Grimes has a point about his contract value.

WTF? I don't like this for Clippers. Powell to me is >>> than soft John Collins. Also Miami gives up two older guys that weren't really playing and gets gifted a really good player who from a scoring standpoint wasn't far off Butler last year, but actually shoots the 3.
