They swiped him for Murray. He is like if Frank Ntilikina learned to score

We need to fix our defense urgently. A Thibs team not on that list while a top team on offense is so weird.

Fox put up 60, but Sac still loses
Nalod@ 11/16/2024 1:25 AM
Sabots looks smaller? Took some bulk off. Shoulders looked leaner. He was kind of jacked in the past. Face looks different. Timberwolves got quality road win. Randle looks like Randle, but on a different team.

Oh, I missed this one

VDesai wrote:Perhaps too early for draft regrets, but the one that seems to stick out right now is why did we take Pacome over Ryan Dunn. Pacome is raw/young and will take years in order for us to see who he is, but every expert was mocking Dunn to the Knicks and saw him as a fit with Thibs. Biggest question was whether he could contribute on offense or stick some 3's and right now he's hitting them at a representative clip. Already started 5 games for a contending, veteran Suns team. We need a big wing backup who can play D in the worst way right now and this seems like a missed opportunity. Ultimately we got a guy who was willing to take a 20% pay cut from slot with a ton of upside - that money and the long-term prospects make a ton of sense, but with a "win-now" type of roster, it looks like Dunn is one of the more immediate contributors in the class and a player that people were saying was a "Knicks" type player for months and months.
Because he couldn't shoot in college. FT or anywhere outside of 10 feet. It would be as if Mitch could start to hit 3points with ease. It would be completely and utterly unexpected.
Phoenix got really lucky. Really really lucky and I think everyone around the team has expressed this. Sometimes you get Okoro or Matisse Thybulle and sometimes players surprise you like Ryan Dunn and Toumani Camara.
Dunn shot 50% FT in college and was a 30% 3point shooter in his last year at school.
Still a small sample size but Dunn now shooting 33% from downtown and 25% from FT and possibly regressing to the mean?

“Inside the NBA,” TNT’s longtime basketball studio show, will appear on ABC and ESPN as the NBA and Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent company of TNT Sports, have settled their months-long lawsuit, sources briefed on the agreement said.
“Inside the NBA” panelists Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith will remain with the show, the sources said. O’Neal still needs to agree to an extension but has indicated his intention to remain on the program, according to one of the sources.

Dunn with 2 pts. Started off hot but coming back to Earth
Nalod@ 11/18/2024 9:04 AM
Watched parts of the Wolves/Suns game and Jules is Jules. Looking good. Had some nice passes also down the stretch. DDV had a nice game. They looked good down the stretch. Suns had them most of the game and nearly pulled off a solid road win without Durant and Beal. With Just Booker they looked good for most of the game.
Tyus Jones getting a good opportunity and should get paid next year by someone. he is a bit of a tweener, not a great starter but better than just off the bench role player. Should be getting at least 12-15mm for 3-4 years.
Funny to see Plumlee, Jones and Grayson Allen all on the court together. All Duke players!
Ant Edwards was a bit delusional with his shot selection at times. Work in progress.

Only thing Randle is not doing well in Minnesota is rebounding. Then again KAT went from 9 boards to 13 boards here so the Gobert presence on the glass is a real thing.

The one thing I'll say is that Durant and Beal are both out, and that means defenses don't have to leave Dunn wide open.
Something to watch.

Same. Used to be multiple times a week but now I'm older and smarter and more experienced and stick to the good shots.
