Not sure the Knicks can sign him to a vet min contract if he is waived? It's an apron rule?

I dont think theres enough space under the 2nd apron, unless they decide to F Shamet and get Bogey instead. Bogey has better size and more scoring chops off the bounce and back to basket, but age and injuries are accumulating.

I would pass cause he is terrible.
Hawks messing up Cavs? Rockets winning! Teams we lose to but think we should beat are doing well. Not just career nights by scrubs or Adam silver conspiracies.
Parity exists. Perhaps there are no "it" team this year?
Take nothing for granted.
Man, this guy was hot for a minute a couple years ago. Played 26 games for Lakers after trade from Utah, then 29 games last season after signing 4 year $48M. No games this year so far.
Some times you sign Donte and he rips through a season, some times you get a player who gets injured. Lakers traded 2027 pick in this trade to Utah, top 4 protected I think. D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley didn't do much for Lakers I think.

I think I'm still going to pick Joker as MVP, but Giannis making it interesting.

Back on the shelf!!! Hope he gets another gig somewhere. If not, he had a nice few weeks in the show to go out on!
The magic are fouling our guys every time they drive to the basket and there no calls
Bucks are on fire. Giannis so locked in right now.

Bucks are OLD.
That being said god forbid they get healthy come spring and Dame/Middleton/Bropez are like hey we feel pretty good!

Hypothetical: If you are the owner of the Bucks, what do you do? Keep Giannis or trade him at his peak?
This is perhaps the one time you can get top return.
Or wait it out and hope that Dame and Middleton get better even at advanced ages? And then what do you do with Portis and Lopez?

Bucks owners are some private equity aholes. They can incur whatever expenses.
They still have an open window with Dame. Middleton cant seem to stay healthy anymore, so maybe they can figure out a swap with him.

The one thing I wonder about is how much ownership can tolerate the luxury tax payments when you don't have a contending team. Lost in the first round last 2 years and things are perhaps shakey for them? Right now they looking at $75M in luxury tax. Feel like if they keep the same salary level, it increases or the multiplier increases or something.
And to keep competitive, they need to kinda sorta commit to some old guys cause as a second apron team, you are really hamstrung in trades. Loper is a FA. Portis can opt out. Middleton can opt out or opt in if he is injured.
OKC and Houston are sitting there with all these picks and young players and in a win now mode. It'll be interesting to follow.
I think the Apron is there bc these Bucks owners and their type dont give 2 shits about the luxury tax payments. The restrictions are the real penalty. They probably have a move in them, but Giannis at this level alone still makes them a legit contender.
Sixers finally got a 2 game winning streak. The annoyance with them is they get the last play in spot and they fuck with a top 2 seed. We got that tough draw last year and while we beat them they did enough to injure us.
This guy has become one of my favorite players not on the Knicks. He is always positive and I like that. The tiktok dances are not for me but I love that its something he loves to do and he does not let people online shame him into stopping.

Philly won 2 games and they are all the way up to 5-14, second worst in the East and 5 worst in the league. OKC owns their pick, top 6 protected. PG can't play back to backs and Embiid is nowhere to be found. They got issues just to make up ground no less do damage in a playoffs. Knicks beat them last year without all the players and a much healthier Embiid.
I think ownership people don't give 2 shits about luxury payments IF they competitive? No one hands out free candy over and over.
