Happy Giannis was able to step up and do the job the Knicks weren't able to do. Daniels continues to be a menace to small guards. Knicks will need to free Jalen on some off ball actions going forward against the Hawks.

I'll attempt to explain the Detroit Pistons situation:🏀Detroit didn't want Paul Reed at $7.7M, because the per day charge ($44,385) was eating into their potential cap space rapidly.
🏀Detroit waived Paul Reed to get off that bigger salary (~$2.5M in dead money for Reed), which took them below the salary floor.
🏀Detroit signed Javante McCoy to get back to the salary floor on Sunday. McCoy gets four days of salary at what should be $32,596 (this will be the dead money for McCoy after his waiver).
🏀Reed re-signs on a prorated veteran minimum contract (which will probably be non-guaranteed too) at ~$1.4M.
🏀Net result is Reed's dead money + new cap/tax hit is roughly $3.9M vs the former figure of $7.7M.
🏀End result is the Pistons still have Reed, are back over the salary floor and now have $14M in cap space to work with at the deadline vs $10.5M.
This was a VERY smart piece of cap management by the Detroit front office. Really well done!

The Celtics Bulls game was definitely the most extreme of this era. 108 3 pt attempts is all star game territory of walking up and chucking. The Bulls have medicore shooters and try to play like the Celtics. The Celtics will just take 3 if you let them - they converged for an epic chuck fest and the Celtics had an off night
Tatum is a guy who is good going to the basket that he shouldnt just chuck from 3 but he does. Thats why I dont think he will ever be MVP. I guess who cares they are still the best team in the league.
