The way things are I'd expect them to trade Lamelo at some point. His games played is not that great. Kid can pay but injuries matter. Can't speak to his work ethic either. Memphis with Jah? They win without him. Kid is a special talent but a head case and while he can fly, its the landing part that gets him in trouble. Pelicans Don't see a future with Inghram at the prices he wanted. Curious what becomes of Zion.

We are learning these freaks of nature don't have balance. Games and body types don't match up.

As for Charlotte and mark Williams, that was an offer they could not refuse. Lakers paid big for him. Its the best they could do as the deadline approached. That pick might be good currency if they don't want to wait. The pick swaps? One never knows. The tank is on with Charlotte. Given that Mitch might not be that useful right away inhibited his value. Dare to think what his value could be if he shows up big for a playoff run.

Yeah its a very good return for Williams no doubt. They didn't really get much for Richards but did well for Williams. If you play fantasy bball, you might as well grab Knecht as he will get a lot of shots and minutes.

Williams is a major lob threat with Luka

Toronto doesn't entirely make sense, but a starting 5 of IQ, Barrett, Barnes, Ingram and Poeltl is kinda quality right? And they have Boucher, Ogbaji and Dick just waiting to rise up from the bench

Man I hope the Cavs don't have the means to make this deal, because I think this would low-key make them really tough to beat:

A name to watch today is Atlanta's De'Andre Hunter. Hawks have been fielding calls on Hunter, with the Cavs emerging as a frontunner for the 6'8" swingman, sources tell @SInow.

Sixers salary dump Reggie Jackson and give up a 1st and get a bunch of 2nds.

The Philadelphia 76ers are trading guard Reggie Jackson and a future first-round pick to the Washington Wizards, sources confirmed to ESPN's Tim Bontemps and Bobby Marks, for guard Jared Butler and four future second-round picks.

Yeah, this would be very good for the Cavs, depending who goes out.

Chandler @ 2/6/2025 11:25 AM
Hunter >> Okoro

please don't happen; they're tough as it is

Yet something inside says they'll be easier in playoffs than during season as teams get a better chance to gameplan and adjust

Cavs appear to be near the all-in precipice

Good trade for Miami?

Davion had been playing well for Toronto, but then he DNP'd vs us. Jamal Shead played and played well and they are kind of the same exact player.

Davion definitely a "Heat Culture" type.

They are a 5 away from being very good! The Tank is off. Ujiri has cred and despite all the picks in the rebuild that 5 just has Barnes from the draft.
He has erected a good core with Dick off the bench. I assume he has a price worked out with Ingram.
That he did not have to insert Dick in that trade was a good Stroke.
They are within reach of the play in. They can back in if Dick is assertive by pounding the middle and he waiting on the wing to release his shot. That works given he has a quick release. Let the game cum to him.
I guess Ujiri was holding on to Dick unless a bigger trade came up. If he had to, it would have left a big hole to fill.
Nola wanted him included in the deal. Ujiri was heard laughing to. himself after he said "You don't get Dick".
Philly called inquired about using Adem Bona and a pick for Dick. Ujiri never took the call. He thought it was juvenile.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. got trade to Milwaukee which is his hometown squad, where he went to College and then they literally flip him the day after to the Spurs for Cash. That must hurt!

since i hate KD, i love the idea he's playing on an under-performing, underwhelming team -- without a rudder

There a world (Could be flat) were KD ends up on Dallas?
There is a buzz about KD. He not asking for a trade but he might be sour about things.
He always sour about something.......
Suns rebooting? Is Isiah in Ibisha's ear again?
Have not seen such bad advice given and taken since David Berkowitz took instructions from his dog.
martin @ 2/6/2025 2:25 PM
Suns be wasting Durant’s time

Atlanta is going to have a lot if not the most cap space this summer. They are really blowing it up.
