I’d rather go back to the original format warts and all. But the fact that each team has its own theme(as you alluded to), might make it an entertaining competition. You can root for the young all-stars, the veteran all-stars, or the international all-stars.
As they say “styles make fights”, so this is better than just a random mix of all-stars.
