Just as AD goes down for weeks, Luka gets back on the court. What a world
Hornets are not satisfied Williams "Failed".
It implies they did not trade in good faith or Lakers thought the better as it was a dumb move?
Williams has played just 60% of games last two seasons.
Nobody can imagine that Lebron was not in the know. The bits I have read Davis was not happy, not happy about playing the 5, and likely was not down for a rebuild and perhaps him being traded was inevitable given Lakers don't build thru draft and if they can't contend they starphuch until they can.
Did this trade insinuate Lebron is retiring after this year? He got to play with Bronny and its evident they are not contending this year. He has the records and other than 6 rings, he has had an incredible career.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but his season totals are 43, 19, and 23 (out of ~50 so far this year). He has MISSED 60% of his games.
Why the Lakers would trade for a player who has those stats is wild.

That’s ok mavericks are coincidentally getting Cooper Flagg in the next draft

I think 2 things at work here
Charlotte wants this trade because the negotiated an awesome package. Williams is a good player, but they got a nice pick package and Knecht who has good potential as a scorer.
I think LA overpaid for Williams b/c he is one of the best lob threats in the league if healthy and they saw what Luka could do with Gafford and Lively and Williams could be a great add. He's still young so they are betting on future health.

Imagine what a semi healthy Mitch would grab
Durant's a member of teh 30,000 pt club. Like him or hate him, he in that rare tier 1 space of all the greats.
Hornets disputing Lakers returning Williams. This should be fun. I thought Silver was the culprit?
Lamelo Ball felt disrespected he not an Allstar. on pace of second season in a row under 50 games played.
I questioned Jah and Lamelo existence with their teams. They go the money but they not playing up to it. Not saying they get fair market back but they move on from the contract if not confident.
Brandon Ingram got 40mm per extension for three years after Nola did not want to pay that.
Say what you want about overpaying for Mikal but the kid plays and knicks are succeeding!
I don't know how we going to be able to pay everyone in the future but one has to just enjoy the journey and let Leon and Co. sweat it out.
I see Christian Woods has been waived by the Lakers. Will this entice Briggs to come out of retirement with guns a blazing with post on why we should pick him up?
Has any mid-teens NBA scorer been waived as frequently as Christian Wood?

I mean, this one is because he is out for the season.
Good. They gave up Lowrey and a lottery protected 2027 that transfers to unprotected in 2028.
This is going to be the worst loss of the season.

It’s not over? Why won’t it end?!?!?

That, Bot, is called the reverse jinx.

Knicks fanbase has been doing reverse jinx for like 20 years ongoing or something
