The easy to predict disaster of a trade for the Mavs. Why can't we ever get gifts like this. Rose should have been close to Nico instead of Thibs.
Silver wanted Luka in LA. Don’t be surprised if the mavericks coincidentally get Flagg

28.6pts 5.6rbs 4.5as 2.1stls on 40% from 3Dallas just gave him away, too which is crazy.
Would like to see Bridged be more selfish out there, he’s not aggressive enough.
I think we all saw Grimes potential when he was here. I certainly rated him higher than RJ and Quickley. We got Donte and he wasn’t a great fit in Detroit so we quickly forgot about him.
He was having a good season in Dallas, which is why, from what I read, they “gave him away” because they didn’t want to pay him this off season.
With George and Embiid out, he’s getting more touches and finally getting a chance to showcase himself.
Grimes is playing like Bridges did when he got to the Nets. Showing more than 3 and D. He is going to have a really interesting free agency. How he managed to be on 4 teams in a year is kinda crazy. I still dont know why the Pistons didn't try to develop him as he is better and younger than Tim. The Mavs at this point we just have to write off for being dumb.
Question is can Philly keep him? I think they will have apron issues if they cant move PG or Joel
Only 98 threes attempted in the Cavs game tonight. Man I miss the old Knicks heat games

I think Grimes is good enough to say "Hey, if im not getting a chance here makes no sense for me to ever sign here". Thus, he is gambling on himself. Good for him. For what its worth he had some really good games here and had earned the starting job from Thibs. Thats not nothing!!!! Im sure we all figured out he could not handle it in NYC but we have no clue to the specifics. Perhaps he figured it out. Like Ty Jerome in Cleveland, This kid bounced around and put it together. NBA parity and cap thing does help players get other changes. Clev can't pay him unless they dump someone. That gives another player or team a good opportunity if they so choose to pick Jerome.

Wow thats a huge development. It knocked out Wemby for the year.
Knicks could matchup with them without Dame
The Lillard thing has huge implications on the Knicks. Bucks are only a half game ahead of Detroit for the 6 seed. They could drop and if we continue to hold the 3 it would be our first round matchup. Would Dame be available by that series? I would guess its unlikely.
I LOVE the match up against the Bucks without Dame. They simply won't have enough fire power to beat us in a series if we are healthy and have the Cap back.
The NBA is a business, just like anything else, looking after itself.

To be honest, I liked the matchup even when they had Dame. That said, Giannis is still Giannis. OG does a decent job on him, but the Freak has shown that he steps it up in the post season.

Can we lose on purpose to get the 4th seed?
Lebron with the tip at the buzzer wow
The Bucks are now the 6 seed
This is utterly ridiculous. We all know who you are.
