Sixers are up next - they have lost 8 in a row. Aside from Embiid, Maxey, George sitting they also decided to sit Grimes, Yabusele and Oubre against the Raptors. Trust the Process.

They've got $100+M in salary that'll probably sit more than 40 games per year over the next 3 years. Insane

The coaches all thank him for the paychecks and time off.
One could say that it is perhaps not the coaches.

This is exactly what we are missing! And Donte's shooting of course but his toughness has not been replaced. Hate to say this but if this was one of the Knicks who got into a scuffle with Stewart, I think Bridges and some other players would hugged and laughed it up with Stewart after the game. Am I crazy?

Nice for the Knicks

Yes - but Donte was completely out of line - the foul was not that hard or anything to complain unless I am missing something. Knucklehead like a JR Smith- volatile and sometimes costs you.

I think Donte was initially coming in to keep peace between Reid and Hollin... but Hollins didn't appreciate Donte getting between him when Reid started wagging his finger. Prob wouldn't have escalated w/o Donte but you never know.

Donte was on edge several plays ago between him and Stewart. So he was just waiting for the opportunity to turn up. Donte is from the HOOD. Don't let the red hair, young face fool you. He's a scraper, and needed to get this out of his system at that time. Don't worry, he will have an opportunity to return.

This past Sunday Nalod was in Denver visiting family and ran into Westbrook in Whole Foods as he was shopping with his two daughters. Got thing for that. Ran into Raymond felton in Myrtle beach supermarket about 10 years ago. These guys don't make eye contact so there is no acknowledgement opportunity to even say hello. Was staying in a hotel in Wilmington NC about 2013 and Bill Cartwright was smoking a stogie on a bench outside. He did make eye contact with me and was friendly when I approached him. Basically said I was a knick fan and enjoyed watching him play both as knick and was happy he had a good run with Bulls. Real quick. Told me he was there for a coaches clinic. I said good bye, then literally bumped into Stan Van Gundy coming out of the elevator. I said "what, no flop?" He was puzzled then quickly laughed. "We know each other?" he asked, I replied "Naw, But I might have given Jeff his first diet coke".....Again puzzled, he took the joke and he reached out to shake my hand! I said "Im a long sufferings knick fan".....He replied "Ain't we all".
WEstbooks kids were cute, and Russ is basically a alien. By that, perfect posture, build and gait to his walk.
I do admire his sticking in the game at a lower salary and being a role player. 36 years old now, has played 70 games thus far, avg 28 min a game with a respectable stat line. Perhaps under rated in lost in history but this dude was 9 years allstar/all NBA player with an MVP to his name. Was not a huge fan of his game but can't deny his talent or argue sure fire HOF when he retires.
