Thibs could just rest the starters when we face the pistons on Thursday
No chance
Nuggets fire Malone a week before the playoffs? What is this NBA season?

What in the hell? Did Obi Toppin really force a team to reboot??
This was not because of Obi. This was infighting between the coach and GM. The owner had enough of it and fired both.
Wishful thinking, but I wonder if Malone would come to NY as an assistant. He’s from NY and repped by CAA. Used to be an assistant here. Knicks never really labeled Rick Brunson as Assoc HC. They could use a coach like him given Thibs isn’t going to be coaching forever. I’ve always felt Thibs will sort of eventually half retire and move to the front office. Having Malone in place would be ideal.

Now this would be a smooth operator Leon move
Indy wins and Milwaukee wins.
So we are probably playing Detroit unless we lose out and Indy wins out.
Obviously Malone after 10 years there perhaps lost his team which is why the pre playoff out. If they are thinking he is gone by seasons anyway, perhaps firing him a week before playoffs is a last ditch effort to shake them up? I guess they see it as really nothing to lose as they are not playing well currently.
Im sure we'll read more in the next few weeks but Murray's injuries and salary are an issue, and Porter Jr. not really living up to his contract.
Doubt he goes back to Sac or to Memphis. There will be other job openings.
First Lillard and then Kuz. Bucks going in wrong direction

Per @basketball-reference.com There is a 99% chance that New York finishes the season as the 3-seed and a 96% chance that Detroit finishes the 6-seed
Super sucks for this rookie and playoffs

99% is interesting. Cleveland is already resting its starters for the next game against Indiana. Indiana plays Cleveland twice and also Orlando. We play the Pistons, Cleveland and New Jersey.
We're resting players vs. Detroit.
We're still probably getting the 3 seed, but there's a bit more intrigue here than maybe those odds are implying.
Luka with 45 in his return to Dallas

Pretty sure there is a thread where this Kuzma affect is documented when folks here were clamoring for him. One thing I will say about Lebron. He can make the players around him better. That effect often wears off when they are traded at higher value. You are left with overconfident gunslingers without the veteran presence to reel them in. High volume low efficiency player.
Ok the Magic are up 34 and the Bucks are up 8 - like it or not we are gonna 3/6 vs the Pistons the way its going.
Seen this video and I know its mostly meant to be a joke but I kind of actually feel this way.
