It strengthens our bench.
the biggest loss would be that secondary ballhandler b/c Hart has been our de facto PG much of the season, I guess that's why Thibs really sticks with it.
Good points.
I feel Bridges would be able to handle the secondary ball handling need.
Also, most keep thinking I am putting down Josh. Complete opposite, don’t see an issue with him staying at high minutes, as he did last year coming off the bench. Just that he would be able to give guys like OG and Bridges more rest.
We have seen several games where we lose steam in the fourth.
And again, no secret Towns needs a defensive big next to him.
Reminding Rose that we still need a PF.
My suggestion of playing Mitch and KAT has worked but Brown not using consistently.
Who is your ideal target?
Not many FA's next summer. John Collins? Hachimura. Say we go all in with KP o LBJ.
Thought Diawara earned some more minutes before Sochan came.
Sochan had promise. Can he get it back? Was not a bad thought.
Think we will see Kat there more in playoffs when MR injury concerns subside.
Keep that in the back of my mind. Many complained Thibs hurt us not saving some guys for the playoffs. So maybe we will see the benefits of keeping MR healthy. Think that is our only hope.
My preference still, is that we pick up a better defensive Center that can stretch the floor. KAT has always been a problem defensively. Having KAT and JB on the court at the same time does not scream defensive success. Add a small PF and we don't match up well against the better teams like Detroit and Boston. Will start my "We need a lot more than PF" next week.
Diawara is the real deal and an excellent big wing/ PF of the future.

He seems to have talent on-ball, off-ball, and of course defensive ability. I’m still shocked he wasn’t drafted higher with his physical ability. What did he not show in team workouts ?

He started playing late and showed Frank levels of passivity overseas. Also, not sure if he worked with anyone other than us. We had the Dadiet, Yabu connect going in.

He said in an interview he worked out for a lot of teams. I forget the number but it was 10+.

Distance shooting. He was 30% from distance in previous years.

Of course. But that’s most players. Guys with less physical talent and similar shooting background are drafted first round every year. Even if you take away the shooting, he’s still a great defensive prospect.

That’s what happens when you let LeBron Shadow GM. Draft Shabazz Napier and trade for Kevin Love
