Game was tied at 3, other than that we led the whole time and by double digits for 40 mins or so

Why does everyone above us keep winning, haha?

Ooh, the Magic are losing. Bring on the FDA Jazz. Knicks move to the 3rd seed, hell yeah.

VDesai @ 11/21/2024 12:35 AM
Im glad i stayed up for that because I have never see a Knicks offensive performance like that in my life. At times effortlessly dominant
VDesai @ 11/21/2024 12:39 AM
Suns sold out to stop Brunson and then KAT just ate them

Which is exactly what we was missing in the playoffs with Randle injured. You need to make defenses pay for overloading on him.

NYStateOfMind @ 11/21/2024 12:42 AM
Love the balanced and talented starting line-up, with a healthy bench and defensive improvement, top 5 team IMO.

Simms looked good tonight. If only he can add a push shot like I Hart. Is Mitch coming back before January ?
LivingLegend @ 11/21/2024 1:28 AM
At times we make offense look really easy and on lesser occasions we buckle down to actually defend.

While we waltzed to this victory I still feel like we are making a ton of sloppy ball/shot decisions and our D is leaving guys open all over. Think I heard a stat today that Knicks are allowing the most open shots in NBA.

- Brunson aggressive and did a wonderful job of scoring/distributing
- Kat casually puts up 30 & 10 games with such efficiency - so talented on offensive end
- I loved Sims minutes - I love bigs that screen old school and that's back to back games where Sims cleared someone off Brunson
- Bridges/OG took a back-seat but chipped in and Josh just keeps putting up point/rebound/assist stats
- Payne --- staying aggressive and knocking some shots down

I can't believe I'm calling out some sloppiness on offense on a night I think we hit 140

Biggest thing with team thus far is Kat's impact on offense (and boards). His points and shooting %s are GREAT but it's his quick decisions, unselfishness, vision and elite passing skill that is biggest boost. I sense that this team (everyone) like's each other and as of today there are no selfish agendas. Kudo's to Thibs, Leon and rest of front office.

On ESPN broadcast they mentioned McBride very close, Precious still a week or two away and Mitch long term -- no idea if that means Dec, Jan or Feb for Mitch

Mentioned in my other post -- loved Sims minutes last few games. There was some stat floating around that he has lowest FG% against on shots at the rim in the entire league (lowest by a good margin), but on top of that I loved 2 hard screens he set past 2 games that sent a message to guys riding Brunson up the court.

Sims may not even know this (I think he does) but if he knocked guys down like that every night Thibs might never take him out.

Everyone slams Sims, but his at the rim defense is apparently good- it’s probably hard for casual fans to spot maybe? And he takes up space which can help with setting picks and screens to free up the skill players.

Three things.

1. Was awesome to wake up and see a win from a quality performance
2. It seemed like just yesterday when people were wondering whether Thibs could coach anything other than D. These performances show he can do it all
3. Reading the game posts is far superior to anything in normal media. The above post is gold. I hope Breen starts plagiarizing that!!

His footwork is elite. Has a quick bounce and a 44’ inch vertical. Does a great job of staying in front of people and staying vertical. Doesn’t need to cheat to try and get the block. Excited to see what more he can add on offense.

+6.4 NET rating, is why I wasn't worried. good indicator of how good this team is. Mitch and or Precious will really help too, and Brunson is finding his game now he's always a slow starter but he's still the guy on this team.

Don't let these wins against bad and injured team fool you. We have proved nothing yet. When we start beating the Celtics, Cavs, Warriors or the Thunder of the world then we can start feeling better. Not trying to be a downer but you have to look at the competition.

Brooklyn - Bad
Brooklyn - Bad
Wiz - Bad
Suns - Injured

This is why fans go on a rollercoaster ride during the season. They looks at win streaks and ignore the context of the win streak.

Pretty sure that is the prime example of a downer. “Not trying to offense, but you are broke, stupid and ugly.”

I would call it being a realist. It is just the way I am wired. I don't just look at the result. I look at why the result is the result and how can the information I gather from that apply to other situations in the future. Seeing that we beat all bad or injured teams told me nothing on how we would do on a 4 game streak vs actual good teams.

at $2M per, we can wait a few years for him to develop that shot. He has been doing so well.

Kudos to all of you that made it to the end. Coffee on me, but dealers choice and I like to spice things up

We are coming together boys!
KAT looking great and blending better with JB.
JB finding how to fit others and get his.
Hart is team MVP when it comes to doing all the little things. Not to mention scoring the rock.
Bridges growing on me but still seems we paid a lot.
Excited to see how we look when we get Deuce, Precious and of course MR back.
