We are coming together boys!
KAT looking great and blending better with JB.
JB finding how to fit others and get his.
Hart is team MVP when it comes to doing all the little things. Not to mention scoring the rock.
Bridges growing on me but still seems we paid a lot.
Excited to see how we look when we get Deuce, Precious and of course MR back.

Even when he comes back, it's been a year for him realistically. It'll take at least 3 months of on court time for him to get in shape

Three things.
1. Was awesome to wake up and see a win from a quality performance
2. It seemed like just yesterday when people were wondering whether Thibs could coach anything other than D. These performances show he can do it all
3. Reading the game posts is far superior to anything in normal media. The above post is gold. I hope Breen starts plagiarizing that!!
You know what they say, Thibs is finally free of the shackles created by Johnnie Bryant being the top assistant and obviously Rick Brunson was key

at $2M per, we can wait a few years for him to develop that shot. He has been doing so well.
UFA after this season.
3 year, Deuce level deal incoming!!!!
Leon, make it so!!!

Yo! Do not forget about the sisters and the strippers who think this is ultimateknicksporn.com now that KAT and Brunson gellin like magellan!!

True. To get them truly bouncing, I will add what a great pickup Payne has been.

On ESPN broadcast they mentioned McBride very close, Precious still a week or two away and Mitch long term -- no idea if that means Dec, Jan or Feb for Mitch
Mentioned in my other post -- loved Sims minutes last few games. There was some stat floating around that he has lowest FG% against on shots at the rim in the entire league (lowest by a good margin), but on top of that I loved 2 hard screens he set past 2 games that sent a message to guys riding Brunson up the court.
Sims may not even know this (I think he does) but if he knocked guys down like that every night Thibs might never take him out.
Everyone slams Sims, but his at the rim defense is apparently good- it’s probably hard for casual fans to spot maybe? And he takes up space which can help with setting picks and screens to free up the skill players.
I've been critical and have often felt he's a 3rd center at best BUT I think I need to start realizing that Thibs must see/know something.
Have always thought Sims was elite center at guarding perimeter/switches but (although limited sample size) had no idea his rim protection #s were so good this season. Hope he proves me wrong - have no problem with his effort - he's just left me lacking in awareness/offense.
Go get em Sims

His footwork is elite. Has a quick bounce and a 44’ inch vertical. Does a great job of staying in front of people and staying vertical. Doesn’t need to cheat to try and get the block. Excited to see what more he can add on offense.
I think you just nailed what has frustrated me in the past with Sims but that he has more or less changed most recently.
Historically he chases blocks BUT seemingly always was late or missed block - also leaving himself out of position for rebound.
This year his D is looking like I-Hart where Sims has better feet (elite D for a big on perimeter) but now he is defending like I-Hart where he is getting in front of drivers/shooters and staying tall/vertical. This clogs drives, leaves him in good rebound position.
Maybe that's his improvement or maybe I'm imagining that.

Right! Every team needs a crackhead cause it raises the roof of the party, and we love that he our crackhead!

Holy shit. I never saw that.
I don't know about the outside official but the baseline guy was staring right at that.

Thibs and staff has done it again. Noel, Mitch, iHart. They were all decent athletes and players in their own right but next level defenders with the Knicks given a bit of time.
Hukporti should just stick around for 2 more years and then get a $20M contract anywhere he wants.

I think he was signaling the Suns to cut to the hoop

Coffee ain't getting it done. I need meth!
And this includes a couple of missed bunnies in the game
