One way to get TJ Wrren on team would be to trade Sims, who they don’t or won’t need down the road.

Its like the meds kick in, listen to that "report" and have to laugh cuz it sounds so important. Its Jericho Sims.

Prediction that Alec Burks will be a Knick yet again.

How about Kendrick Nunn? on a whim, I looked up Frank N to see where he was- Turkish league and looked at the box score of a recent game and saw a whole bunch of names I recognized.

If there is the opposite of a Basketball HOF, then Frank and Phil will be enshrined together.

Looks like he is struggling to perform in the Turkish league - he played 12 minutes and scored 3 pts. Looking back, he has only scored in double digits twice in the 10 games shown on the google feed.

On the bright side, not so many turn overs.

Seemingly endowed with exceptional athletic abilities, yet, the game of basketball does not seem to be one he excels in.

It might be late in his career, but he should seriously explore some other sport like soccer or volleyball or perhaps checkers.

I hope he kept all of his earnings in the bank.

I wish I had his problems

What, you don’t remember Etridge Bohannon of the Eastern Conference champion 99-100 team. His Per36 numbers are off the charts for a PF, at 21pts per36.

But yeah, he played about 5 minutes that season. Not exactly Moochie Norris.

he played 2 games for us. I honestly don't remember. I must have been too busy being on the train into and out of NYC for 20% of my day.

Knicks got destroyed by Wiggins last week and Joe this week. They just need to eventually complete the roster with guys like that who can come off the bench and go off at any time. We have time.

TJ Warren but if added to roster will the coach play him ?

I will say - Mobley and Allen are the catalysts for what the Cavs are doing and the Cavs dominate the boards and rim protection. And yet they are the personal property of Mitchell Robinson.

The assumption that Mitch will/would dominate these guys this year is a HUGE ASSUMPTION.

The 2 Cleveland guys (particularly Mobley) have both grown and been healthy all year where Mitch has seemingly missed most of the past 3 seasons (slight exaggeration maybe).

That would be like assuming we had the Cavs # when they beat us earlier this year.

I could actually see that series from 2 years ago being a huge point of revenge if we have to face Cavs in playoffs - I'd prefer not to see them myself.

Knicks keep picking up phone and line is dead when it comes to Sims.

Will be somewhat amazed if Sims netted us 1 solid 2nd round pick --- he's probably worth having as insurance here. He does have his moments but he seems to be classic guy who looks worse with more exposure.

We could net a 6th round pick for his ball handling alone.

DLeethal @ 1/13/2025 9:50 AM
Sims is probably best suited as a contract to pair with someone else and some 2nds to get a decent 4-6M player to add to the bench.
DLeethal @ 1/13/2025 9:52 AM
We really have two options IMO. Trade Mitch or trade Precious and try to get a legit bench piece. No point of keeping both those guys off the bench as they can't play together. If you trade Mitch, Precious/Sims/Huk is enough bench depth. If you trade Precious, Mitch and his injury woes with Huk and Sims is still enough bench depth, assuming you get a forward back to balance the bench.
