I got them winning the MLK jr. Day game.

+1. Inexplicable.

Celtics, Hawks, Pistons, Bulls, oh my.
This is a bad bad loss. They happen over the course of the season, but they need to be better.
No Kat and McBride is not an excuse tonight. The Magic got it worse.
I love Thibs. I just wish he could adjust and fix his clear faults. Cam has been trash for a long time. Can we try something different?

He did. He played Shamet 20 minutes.
That ref is no Bill Kennedy.
Ugly game and uglier loss. Low energy and the 3s are not falling. Give the Magic credit. They were the more desperate team and they were due for a win.
It really makes you appreciate KAT cause the offense without him was so different and a struggle. The 3rd quarter was again a struggle. I do think maybe they are a little bored and fatigued. That OKC loss took a lot out of them but we'll be fine. We've hit a slump and losing streaks happen in a long season. We had two 4 game losing streaks last season if I remember correctly.
I gotta buy NBA 2K24, and stop tuning in to these games.

I was talking about trying something smart. Like playing your 2nd best playmaker who can also hit shots. Kolek not getting any minutes is a crime.
Brunson and OG look gassed when they try to elevate. Cam is still feast or famine.
I wonder how much worse (if at all) would Kolek be than IQ was as a rookie. If he was made backup PG from this point on? If he was just as good, then Thibs should think about a change.
Man, tough to watch this on a Monday. They need to hold an open gym tomorrow to find more rotation players.

Magic just lost the Jazz at home the other night...We were sleep walking out there tonight.
Guys are not built for this many minutes, Bridges and Hart over 40 again. We are not going to make it unless Thibs starts adjusting. Need to find a way to get Kolek, Hakporti some minutes. He is going to destroy Bridges.

Its the chicken vs egg situation. Thibs has to trust him but don't play him to give him a chance to build trust because he already don't trust him. He will go a month between playing then make one mistake and sit.
Another disgusting effort.
We basically look like it is last playoff game against Indy last spring - completely outclassed physically in all aspects of physicality.
Cole Anthony looking like double-nickel MJ again at Garden.
Making scrubs like Carter, KCP and Jett Howard look formidable.
One team could defend and were physical the other looked slow old and had Jerico Sims trying to put a fork in the basketball around the rim.
UGH
Everyone else can tell they are tired but some posters just won't admit Thibs has ran them into the ground in less than half a season.

It's amazing how Magic have guys standing wide open chucking 3s all night with no true offensive players playing tonight.
Meanwhile us with at least Brunson/Mikal -- we have a guy like Shamet who we simply can't create an open look for. Guys cling to Shamet like he is Steph Curry off ball. The kid is flying all over trying to get open and can't while other teams 3 point shooters are wide open and testing the breeze with their finger before draining 3.
