TOR has some good young talent.
Barnes, RJ, IQ, Dick is a nice 4 to start building around, then they will be getting a high pick this year as well. They are tanking but they have a really bright future.
And yes we are really missing Duece, without him the bench is really thin. But if we get Mitch back our bench really will be solid. Mitch, Deuce, Payne, Precious, Shamet is 4-5 solid players off the bench. We really just need a big wing off the bench which is something we might have to wait til next year for.

yes looking better on both ends. I think he'll have a big role on this team by seasons end.

He is not making any 3's at this point, but last night he impacted the game with his backdoor cuts and made some pretty good finishes at the basket. On defense he has been very active and is getting in the face of players, but he's still somewhat limited size wise. He should be able to give us some minutes, but ideally has to add some shooting off the bench. Thibs seems to trust him already, which is probably because of the effort he is making defensively and his active movement off ball.
Bruce Brown hasn't really gotten going after he came back from injury, but don't you think he's exactly the kind of reserve wing the Knicks would want? He's a lot like Josh Hart with more confidence in his 3 pt shot, but less dribble creation. A guy who plays big - power forward in a 2Gs body, but can play a lot of roles on the floor / sub for any of the Knick wings.
The problem is the only way to get him is by trading Robinson+Achiuwa and that leaves the Knicks with no reserve for KAT beyond Hukporti and Sims.

nah we need another quick shooter and a bigger body IMO.
and yea the money wouldn't work, no way can we afford to trade Mitch for a smaller player.

Yeah size is the issue. I know they have liked Brown, but they deplete themselves with any move they make here.
Best move that works under the cap that they can make is Mitch Robinson + 2nds for Cody Martin and Nick Richards. Richards may not be as good as Robinson, but he's a pretty good on rebounding and rim protection and is more durable, and Cody is a pesky wing who can hit 3s and get steals. Its the best thing out there right now that I can see that fits the Mitch contract and solves a couple of problems for the Knicks.
What happened to the 2 man game with Brunson and KAT? Are they avoiding KAT screening for Brunson because he keeps picking up cheap offensive fouls? This 2 man game should be deadly, but its been kinda non-existent lately.

Some things are just contagious.
BigDaddyG probably has a bunch of stories he can tell.

You guys suck all the fun out of being miserable.
Knicks trash bench wrecked my game picker. Should have played the starters longer
