Going to be interesting to see what Thbis rotations are.
A few days ago was listening to Macri (KFS) with Fred Katz and they were getting into the Knicks individual player on/off results.
The 2 main culprits to date are Brunson and Hart --- if I remember correctly Hart is by far the worst.
I think Brunson was something like a -2 on offense and a -5 defensively or a combined -7 (when he is on the court Knicks are 7 points worse than(or negative).
Hart's #s are worse and unfortunately I can't remember them but significantly worse (we are better when he is sitting - at least on the scoreboard).
I've criticized Hart a few times this year -- on the podcast they didn't conclude any specific cause outside of his ? shooting (teams still don't respect leading to clogged paint).
My conclusion on Hart is that the shooting is in fact a big deal (teams will always want him shooting) but more importantly Hart's defense has been un-defensible (horrible). Particularly guarding the ball. If he doesn't wake up on that end we will get killed in specific match-ups.
I think he is sacrificing D for rebounds, assists, attacking the rim but I'd argue Hart's lack of D is our biggest issue. Where Jalen/Kat are definite issues they tend to make up for it with great O.
The other key point - per Katz were that most of combos they looked at made a great argument that Kat should be 1st team all-nba.
Basically everyone looks better on floor with Kat - including both Jalen/Josh.

I’m surprised that Hart and Brunson are negatives when on the floor. I get that JB is a weak defender, but it’s not like he is getting scorched by some top opposing scorers.
And there is the thread about how Hart should be in consideration for MIP. I get that he doesn’t like to shoot the 3pt, but it’s not Draymond Green bad, or so I thought.
Once we get Mitch ramped up come playoff the starting line-up should include Mitch with Hart coming off the bench. It will get our defensive back on point and make our bench a strength.
Pg:Brunson,Payne
SG:Bridges,Deuce
SF: OG, Hart
PF: Towns,Warren
C: Mitch, Chewy

It’s a pretty flexible 10 man rotation that can go small or big.
With Hart out, good time to see a two center lineup without hart in the starting 5. This almost seems intentional.
Brunson
Mikal
OG
Towns
Precious
This will allows Thibs to easily swap Mitch in when he’s ready.

Hart is obviously having his most productive/effecient statistical season BUT over long haul of season it's not a good sign when you are the worst player on the team in terms of on/off scores.
As I mentioned I think it's the non-statistical stuff that is the issue -- 1) not taking open shots when he should, 2) teams not respecting his shot (regardless of solid shooting thus far) but more importantly he isn't guarding the ball, he's getting lost in rotations, he is losing guys off the ball and he is NOT a rim protector either.
