Important days in February- Valentine's Day, President's Day and now Mitch and TJ Day
Seeing Greensboro Swarm on Friday. They doing that two games back to back. IM just going to one.
I'd like to see TJ and others.
Curious if and when TJ is rostered the Varsity how long, and if he gets into the rotation.
TJ is Jimmer Fredette 2.0
Fans love to dream but there is a reason he is not on a pro roster.

Yes, we love to dream. Thing is TJ has done it at this level far longer with greater success than did Jimmer.
What's crazy is Jimmer today might have made far more an impact given his range an how the league plays now. Sometimes your coach and team matters a lot early on. He was a borderline talent. Its a thin line......

Yeah. I am really surprised Jimmer didn't succeed in the NBA. Dude can shoot.

I’m rooting for him. In the games I have seen him play in G League, he seems a bit slow. Rotation players are at a different level when it comes to speed.
Does have decent range though to spread the floor.
But of course, with Thibs, won’t matter if he can’t move his feet and play defense.
Play Mitch 15-20 minutes off the bench
If Mitch comes back and has another significant injury before the end of the contract, unfortunately that will be the end for him as a Knick.
TJ fell out of the league due to injuries, not due to not being good. He was a tier below star before he got hurt. Could TJ have been like Khris Middleton?
He has been healthy in Westchester and playing great ball. Lets see. We need wing depth badly. There is a spot.
Just got a Shams push that Mitch planning to play Friday

Let’s bring some of this mojo back. With a dash of Bubble magic too
Some interesting info here.
Was just about to post this too thanks, some of the details:
Yossi Gozlan of The Third Apron explains that the Knicks will be able to add a new free agent later in the season if they wait until Saturday - at the earliest - to sign someone. Here's how Gozlan, who offers fantastic insight on the salary cap on his YouTube channel, explains the sequencing:
If the Knicks sign a player in February 28, their roster is finalized. They wouldn’t have enough room below the second apron to sign another player if they wanted him to replace someone already on the roster. But if they delay signing someone to a rest of season contract by one day, they’ll have room to make an additional signing on the last day of the season. The longer they delay signing someone to a rest of season contract now, the earlier they could make an additional one later.

That's an interesting piece of info and probably why you haven't/won't see TJ signed today.
While signing someone on the LAST day of the season won't seem to help much, the Knicks showed how having cap holds on random vets helped facilitate multiple trades this offseason. They technically would have 15 guys on the roster if they sign Warren, but I think as a just in case, the ability to get another vet on the roster on the last day if the spot is open will be something Aller+Co. want to take advantage of, because its another slightly above min salary they can add to a trade package to make salary matching work.
While it would be a shocker if it wasn't TJ or Chuma for spot 15, Josh Richardson is out there as well. I think Duarte is a non-entity, but Richardson can stick a 3 and play some defense. He always gave the Knicks problems. I think he's still playing well enough to help a rotation out there.
Celtics turned that guy and a late first into Derrick White! I know turning Reddish and a late first into Josh was a swipe, but holy hell what a deal they made.
Should we take it as a hint that they decided to hype up Chuma?
Sixers had given him a 10 day and didnt give him much burn so he came back. Don't know if he didnt make an impression or just didnt get a chance.
TJ has been having scoring bonzanzas and has a ton of NBA experience - hard to imagine no one has offered him a 10 day, but maybe he and the Knicks have a handshake.
