PJ Tucker’s rest-of-season deal with the Knicks will leave them with enough room under the second apron to add another vet free agent at the end of the regular season. Knicks people have appreciated Tucker’s off-court impact, vocal approach during his two-week stint with the club. The player and team have agreement, plan to finalize deal shortly. In scenario described above, NYK would need to waive a player in order to create room on roster to sign another free agent. They could fit a veteran minimum salary in under the second apron if they wait until the last day or two of the regular season to make the transaction. The team option on Tucker’s deal - first reported by ESPN - also gives New York additional salary to include in an offseason trade, if club chooses to go that route.

The singing another player thing doesn't really make sense as it requires waiving a current player...don't think that's happening as Delon is now playing enough of a role that just moving off him is unlikely.

We'll see how those two do in the playoffs. I mean, for much of the year, Bridges has kinda been disappointing. Wonderful in spurts, which just leaves you wondering, where was that player.

Yes - maybe these two and the entire squad need time to gel. But maybe Bridges and Kat are just nice guys that lack the edge that a player like Giannis would bring.

I don't think that trade is awful. I don't know that the Bucks make that deal.
