Cade was one of the highest in the NBA in turnovers at around 4.4. He is turnover prone, but we're also making him turnover 6 times so we're doing it even more than normal- so both.

Nah, they're just cloning him every time he goes back to the locker room in the 4th.

This game made me a believer. Tbh, I thought the Knicks were the team we saw in game 2 all season
Weak and lacking the competitive drive that made the 2023-24 squad so special. Somehow they turned the season around in Detroit. Lots of credit to Thibs for believing in the starters all season at the expense of the bench. We saw that cohesion finally pay off.

Celtics vs Orlando has been way less competitive. Hopefully Knicks can close out the series in Game 5 and steal Game 1 in Boston because right now New York is playing at a totally different level of intensity.

Are we ever going to see Delon Wright again? We sure could have used him in this series and will certainly need himagainst Boston in the next series.

So quick question... lets say we finish off Detroit in 5. Then we face the Celtics in the second round to lose 4-2 with all of the games being close. What do you think we should do with Thibs in that scenario?

What you do is list out the 10-20 expectations you had as a team and for the coach for the entire year. Playoff series will only be a few of them.

That's where you make your decisions, on all the things.

Delon Wright is a 3rd or 4th string guard so it's very unlikely you are going to see him again this year.

And reality is its probably a living document. At this point who thinks we can beat the Celtics 2 games? That's literally exceeding expectations at this point.

I hold out hope we can do more. I think overall Thibs has done a pretty good job in this series. We still need to close it and I don't think its necessarily gonna be that simple.

Boston historically has been flappable. Last year they were the cream of the crop, but are they a dynasty kind of team? They could get bounced this year IMO, they aren't clicking on all cylinders right now. That said, Knicks will have to hit levels they rarely hit all year and we will need some help from Boston in the choke or injury department.

their style of play is kind of incredible. They spam you with 50 3s a game and they shoot one of the league's best %s. You are basically banking on them having 4 bad shooting games and that's really tough. Along the way they defend at an elite level and have no weaknesses in terms of size/depth

I do not see any team aside from OKC who can beat them the way they are playing now. I think the Knicks would go 7 vs the Cavs.

I HOPE that the new gear we are seeing in KAT/Bridges helps but hard to see realistic outcomes that dont involve the above
