Why do we complain about Mitch getting hacked when we would absolutely do the same thing.
My issue has always been with Mitch on this --- how has he failed to even become a bad FT shooter? He's not bad he's atrocious.

Will Thibs learn?
Joe Mouslla is idiot but Mitch Robinson is a bad free throw shooter who doesn’t work on his free throw. It’s time to take the training wheels off Mitch Robinson and actually work on the basics like free throw shooting.
I think there are videos of him working on free throws before the game.
What ever Mitch is doing it’s not working has try something different if not it’s going to be same problem. Mitch isn’t taking free throws shooting seriously I gave up of Mitch having offensive game but not to having any basic offense game is depressing. He so bad at catching basic passes and scared to finish 2 feet from the basket.
What stood out the most to me early in this one was Celtics being more aggressive (forceful) early on both ends.
For whatever reason this Knicks team (most Knick teams) can't live with prosperity and up 2-0 figured we'd walk in and Celtics would lie down.
VDesai wrote:I guess KAT gets the worst whistle in the NBA
Agreed but it would help if Kat would shut his mouth and stop screaming OMG or WTF every time he goes to the basket.
Plus stop flailing around like you are being shot and go strong thru contact -- maybe you'll get a few calls.
He makes it too easy for all refs to collectively ignore him when fouled.
jaydh wrote:VDesai wrote:I guess KAT gets the worst whistle in the NBA
He's very unlucky. Where has his 3pt game gone? This version of KAT is not worth that salary.
His PG creates zero looks for him -- ZERO.

Jesus Christ.
Got US born Pope before Thibs could commit 100% to switching perimeter screens.

1-7 agaist Boston. How many ways are there to say Less than ideal

Wonder how healthy he is --- he might actually make a FT or a solid pass given some minutes.

Boy do we play uptight at home.
17-19 in our last 36 home playoff games.
5 straight road wins - though if being honest we could have been blown out last 2 in Boston.
Do we have 2 good (really good) games in us?
I really feel like Celtics are total front runners and if you get them in close game they will fold.
ramtour420 wrote:Knicks played exactly like we did the first 2 games. Same exact way. The Celtics made shots and we cannot win if that continues to happen this series
Not exactly - we were lost all over on high screens today - that wasn't happening to this degree 1st 2 games.
At least it didn't feel like it and yes Celtics (make some shots out their ass today).

Our record in close games is insane. If we get it close I like our chances. Getting it close is the hard part.

Practice doesn't make perfect - practice makes permanent.
If he's practicing the same way he's shooting in games we have the definition of insanity.
You can see he barely holds the ball - seems to lay in his palm - just an abomination. LOL
martin wrote:VDesai wrote:Towns was just so bad on defense though. Sometimes you wonder if you can even have him out there
THE biggest question the FO has in front of them. Can you win with KAT’s defense?
Thought his D was fine in Boston when we were switching ==== in drop coverage today we looked lost.
Also - I saw everyone getting lost...particularly Brunson who was 1) lost on high screen action 2) posted up at will and 3) late to 3 point shooters off pin downs. Jalen sucks defensively and needs to score the ball at a high clip or we got nothing.
Also saw Deuce/Hart leaving Pritchard alone numerous times - over helping on less talented shooters to leave Pritchard standing free.
Collectively we can play very dumb basketball at times.
Need to wake the hell up and play 2 very good games or we gonna be gone.
DLeethal wrote:VDesai wrote:DLeethal wrote:
I think this is right. I dont know if he was playing drop or playing like ass on some of these
Yea I mean there are clips of OG pushing Towns up to Tatum because he was dropping instead of switching all over X right now. That leads me to believe Towns was just getting duped or something.
Saw some of that but I also saw Kat OG switch but then for no reason OG runs to double with Kat leaving open shooter --- no ryhme or reason.
Knicks are 7-1 this year when we have 35+ assists
DLeethal wrote:Minnesota had 2nd best league D last year with Towns at the 4. That might be the only way. But they didn’t have Brunson in the same lineup forcing you to hide 2 horrid defenders at the north and South Pole of your defense .
Can't play him at the 4 when we run Hart out there nest to him at PF 40+ minutes every damn night.
Hell I'd leave Mitch and Josh on bench and start Huck to see if that might work. Bring Mitch in per usual.
ToddTT wrote:houston20 wrote:Mitch Robinson needs to make at least 60 percent of his free throws. He such a bad free throw shooter and Mitch was fouled 12 times and made 4. He been in league 7 years at some point he got work free or let precious play.
Mitch is a finished product.
Not yet Todd - he could get worse

I don't know - he shot what 1 3 in game 2 and I thought he was a major key to the win both scoring in post and defending.

I mean Pritchard got 6 open 3's today.
