Today's hometown talent selection was rough. Charles Barkley didn't lie about San Antonio women. I was seriously considering searching for Joan Collins pics. But I settled on Megan Thee Stallion. I don't care for her music but I do enjoy her performances.

It's a hot girl summer in the middle of winter.

Kind of wished I cared more about this Cup but I just don't. It's just not the NBA Championship and I'm glad this game doesn't count in the standings so we can't lose either way. But if Wemby is still on that 20 minutes restriction, I really like our chances. Got to take care of the ball and rebound. Spurs are the best at second chance points. Keep it close and let the Captain Clutch do his thing and add this Cup to our resume. I wonder if some fans will take to the streets and celebrate if we win in 15 degree freezing cold weather.

Agreed. Focus should be on the NBA Championship. Nobody will remember or care who won this by the end of the season. This is a distraction, paid for by oil money that has already upended golf. Patches on players and refs and court floors. It's turning into NASCAR. Not really a huge deal yet, but where does this end?

I know the money is very nice for the rookies, but risk of injury, fatigue, etc. just bothers me. If we had lost gracefully in the semis (no extra game) I would have been happier. I wish all of the major sports leagues would realize they don't have to chase every last dollar at the expense of player health and fan enjoyment.

Time out.
Forget about the money.
After 25 years of not winning shit, I'm going to savor winning an in-season tournament even if it isn't the big prize.
I, for one, am just grateful the Knicks are winning these days, in the playoffs and contenders.
I suppose you forgot how we Knicks fans were in the wilderness for decades and hopeless. I haven't.

Watching all the talent (Wemby/Fox/Castle/Harper/Vassell/etc) running around on Spurs —- this is a good analogy for what we will be facing.

I'm going to take a guess that they must have experienced those 1970 and 1973 championships. Must've been nice to see your team hoist up a trophy and collect rings, but i've never experienced that in a lifetime of being a fan. So yeah I'm looking forward to seeing the Knicks raise a trophy for the first time in my lifetime even if it isn't the trophy I want, it's definitely better than nothing.

I think the Knicks want the Cup Title but more so to beat/prove they can go toe-toe with likes of OKC/SPURS/ROCKETS/NUGGETS.

OKC/Spurs/Rockets particularly seem to come at you in waves ——— Spurs will be massive challenge but if we play CLEAN/SUPER PHYSICAL game we may take them out. Castle may be most physical guard I’ve seen with the ball in his hands - he searches for contact.

Hope Kat shows big-time —- hell hope everyone shows up big time.

Wish we had Deuce or Shamet. Plus a functional Yabu or another big off the bench. But those our improvements we can get back with health and a trade or improvement from Yabu. I'm optimistic come to ight and playoffs. Hey maybe tonight Yabu scores 20 off the bench
