He’s the nba commissioner who hates the Knicks
That was AWESOME - kudos to all the boys.
Big games from OG, Mitch, Clarkson, Kolek and Josh throwing his body around.
It's possible Kolek shuts the Alvarado talks down unless he's not involved in those but he's playing great both with and without Brunson.
What was special about this game was Jalen/Mikal/Kat all played poor to mediocre games and rest of our group stepped up.
F WEMBY, F SPURS, F KORNET (not his Mom) and F Refs because don't think Spurs had a foul called thru almost entire 4th (until very end).
Have to say - feel so good for Clarkson, Kolek and Mitch.
OG maybe best game as a Knick.

While I realize it's only bragging rights, this game shows we can play with anybody (although we haven't yet faced OKC) and are, at least, one of the top four teams in the league. As for Stan VanGundy, our British friends have an expression. He can just "bugger off."
Tom Thibideau punching the air.
I am wearing a suit to the game at Indiana I will be attending on Thursday just to congratulate these guys

I'm calling this The Tyler Kolek Game
Seeing Brown put him back in the game at crunch time was unexpected, but a smart coaching decision. Our 2nd quarter was so choppy because the Spurs were pressuring from three quarters court and we were getting too late into our sets. We started pushing the pace in the second half. That, plus crashing the boards turned the game. And Tyler had something to do with that.
Glad for the kid. Always thought he'd become Brunson's backup.
Shout out to OG. He was terrific
Kolek = Mark Price

Spurs are arguably OKC best competition in the west and they literally have an unguardable generational player so yeah decent team. WFAN more boring giants and Mets talk tomorrow

0.0 fouls on the spurs until 1 minute left in the 4th quarter. Boo Silver next May when we get the ultimate.
Yabu didn't play one minute. Writing on the wall
Imagine if we had played OKC and ended their streak like this.....
Okay. To be open - I didn't love the idea of this game, but it WAS fun to watch the 4th quarter. So while I don't love the concept at all, I did enjoy the game. I'll own that.
My main takeaway is that I don't really want to see this team broken up to get Giannis. I LIKE this team. Great guys who play hard and can beat anyone. I think I'm good going to war with this lineup. If they could get DD without giving up too much that would only increase the fun, but some of the deals I've seen for Giannis just don't make sense.
And by all that is holy, we must keep Mitch Robinson. He is such a dominant force and I think I get more excited when he comes on the floor than anyone else. 15 rebounds in 18 minutes (10 offensive). Who DOES that?
Dominated that 4th quarter! Mitch, Kolek and Clarkson really came through! Proud of these guys! Kolek's dad get's a new car!!
We would have lost that game last year
Really fun game. For whatever this cup title is worth, this was an awesome win.

I love a coach that adjusts to what the game shows. I will always remember Thibs bringing back Randle when he was having a stinker and Obi was balling. Never said Obi is better overall but he was better that game. This is real coaching.

If I'm being honest - that feels like a mega trap game.
Think Brown will need to use bench big time to have a shot in that one - good luck.
