WhyTF would Yiannis want to go from Milwaukee to Minneapolis? Would he consent to such another midwestern tundra? WTF?

After the last couple of weeks of winter weather I can’t imagine living where sub-freezing is the expectation.
Screw that.
Any Superstar with half a brain would want to go to a team that didn't lose any assets to obtain such player. ( Free agency)Or at least didn't spent a lot of assets.( Lopsided trade)Makes sense? So pick the best team and publicly say" I will not resign with any team other than team X"

Somebody tell Melo that.
Too soon?

That wound has healed. Gallo retired. But yeah, Melo could have done so much more here if he played it smart

Read something recently callking it a "Prison" as its really hard to get a chance. Its why Dadiet negotiated to stay with the big team. Deuce stayed up and might be the model of devleopment to some degree playing down some but had to figure things out. He could kick ass in the Gleague but was not even close with the parent team for while. He closed the gap. Dink? I have no clue if his game can translate. Its about opportunities and yes, money too!
Diawa at age 20 seemed to have that promise as well. What seems like a leverage play is they can stay in Europe but with each passing year they lose the window to jump to NBA. Rokas vs. Dadiet? I respect Dadiet taking the risk.
Mo is getting groomed properly at the big show level. That he is getting opportunities with this "win now" roster is quite compelling!
If it’s a prison then they are using faux handcuffs. I don’t know what the ratings are for the G league. Heck, I don’t even know how to watch a G league game or if I did if I would. College ball however has a huge audience, tons of booster support and an opportunity to do more than basketball in a pretty fun environment. I think now even high school ballers are getting paid. College is a much better alternative to the G league unless even with all the academic help they give athletes you just can’t manage it.
The context of a prison was few players are are called up given roster constructions. Thus they are "Stuck".
As for money? I have get players want to get paid and its a buisiness. Your not wrong.
A guy like Dink? Curious what his pay could be and how it can jump star a path to the NBA.
Now, what would be fun is Gleague teams playing against teams like Duke, UK? UNC? that could be fun!
I don't think it would draw the same audiences as college ball. UNC vs Westchester Knicks doesn't really have the same rivalry appeal and history as a UNC/Duke game. Also the physical differences between 18-20 year olds vs the man bodies of 24-26 year old G leaguers is hard to overlook.
Fun to see how they stack up competitive.
there is no logic from a gate stand point of TV. That I agree. From a hoop perspective only.
I been to a number of Gleague teams. Not really a great thing. Almost sad to see so many really good players who by the slimest of margins did not make the show and dreams dying.

To me, Zubac is the guy you get now. You can pair him with Kat, JJJ or Giannis depending on how that shakes out. Dunn would also be a possibility in the deal to enhance our POA defense.
But why would Clips do this? They'll already be under the cap and have enough team options to make that happen.
Zubac is the guy who I'd expect the LAC to build around, right after they move Kawhi too.
Zubac is 28 year old. Late prime. (our timeline) By the time LAC will be done building he'll be a 30+. He's good, but not All-Star level talent. I'm just suggesting he might be attainable. Not likely, but also not farfetched. NY's trade proposal wouldn't just be Mitch + Yabu. Other players might be involved. Picks.
Well, Zubac is on the market!
Lawrence Frank a busy dude!

Those 2 organizations have really done well.
Read this as Mitch ain't going nowhere any time soon

I’ve never heard that Big Country wasn’t happy or wanted to be anywhere else but NY. Our cap situation sucks but if two sides want it to work it’s getting done
Interesing line from Ian. Knicks have treated him well and doing what they need to to preserve him.
Also, he is a great compliment to KAT. Both are flawed but have extreme elite attributes. I don't know how this all shakes out after this year, but they will deal with it after the parade!

Ha ha. Oh well. I would have went all in on him. Giannis is holding this franchise hostage… and there is no guarantee we get him this offseason. Tough position to be in.
