Dallas just dealt AD and D'Angelo Russell to the Wiz. With Trae Young already on the squad, what are the chances they stay in the bottom 8 in the league?

AD and Young aren't going to play the rest of the year so I think their chances are pretty good that they will suck the rest of the year
We ain’t getting the pick sorry bra
Pick is going to convert into a top 5 pick in the 2nd round. We can then package that with our own 1st rounder to maybe move up a couple spots in the draft. If not look to draft 2 players.
We need to hit on draft picks so we can get depth pieces on rookie scale contracts.
FWIW we seem to have great success w second round picks and not so much w lottery level ones.
Pick will be very very good this year. 31-35 range. Next year we will see. Likely 40-45 range I’m guessing. But a great asset overall.
Now if Wiz can put its two new allstars, one a future HOFer on the damn court for 30 games, Go 20-10 maybe the momentum carries more than the 8th pick. They have a nice young core and a bit of leadership aned winning could be a good thing. Sells season tickets and gives sponsers hope!
A knick fan can dream!
Sac has no business being this bad with that core veteran roster. It is a wierd year as many of these teams have injuiries.

I don't care what happens as long as Pacers don't get a top 5 pick.
Who had Wizards beating Detroit immediately after trade deadline on their bingo card?

Apparently their first round pick in the Zubac trade is top 4 protected. They play the wizards twice this month.

And 10-30 protected! 5-9 goes to LAC I guess

Doesn't the pick convert to 2 2nd round picks?

I believe so, was specifically speaking on this upcoming draft.
If we gonna continue to build piece by piece. We gonna need to find a dog in the draft for the frontcourt. Someone to compete with Mo D. Someone cappable of allowing us to slide OG & Mikal to SF/SG for decent amount of mins who thrives off dirty work.

WAS top 8 protected pick converts to WAS 2026 second rounder and WAS 2027 second rounder if it does not convey.
So.......
For this year we want Trae to kick ass?
Thats a twist. Imagine if Last game of season vs knicks. Wiz win, we get the pick. Lose, it conveys.
Close game, Wiz down by 1, 1 second. Trae at line, MSG, Nothing else on the line.
The irony would be amazing.
